Dear God,

Hi. How are you doing? I hope that you are fine. I am writing this letter to let you know that I am sorry about a few things that are going on in the country in which I live. You see God, I know that You had a hand in making this great country. How do I know this? Well, in my humble opinion, you had a hand in everything that has happened in oh, say the last 10,000 years or so. Well, I am sorry God that some of the people that live in this country don't see it that way. Some of the people in this country think that we all came from a bunch of apes, and so they act that way. Some of the people in this country refuse to believe that, as you said, they will reap what they sow. In other words God, they really think that they can do whatever they want and that they will not have to live with the consequences. Unfortunately God, thier actions effect all of us.

I'm sorry about that whole 10 commandments thing God. I guess that some people would rather have pornography openly displayed in public than your 10 rules for how to live. I am not sure which of the 10 rules they disagree with, but I would bet that they hate all of them. Again, I apologize on their behalf. (Something that I am sure that they would not want me to do, but for my own sake I am doing it anyway.) I am not sure why these people hate You. I think that it has something to do with the thier being totally and completely self-consumed at all times.

I was recently in a one room school house God, and I saw, in the classroom, on the wall, the "golden rule". You know, "Do unto to others as you would have them do unto you." Well, I'm sorry to say that that rule is no longer allowed in our classrooms God. I guess that the schools now have a better way of teaching manners: drugs. Well, God I wish that people could here a great minister of yours again. Jonathan Edwards had a few words to say to some sinners back in the 1700's. Among them were, "Were it not for the sovereing plaesure of God the earth would not bear you for one more minute; for you are a burden to it; the creation groans with you...the sun does not willingly shine on you to give you light to serve sin and Satan. There is nothing of your own, nothing that you have ever done and, nothing that you can do, to induce God to spare you one moment." I'm sorry God that so many people in my country are such a burden. I'm sorry that I am at times a burden as well, we all are. I guess what I am asking for here God is a little more Grace from you, for it is only by your Grace that we still exist as a nation. It is only by your Grace God, that I am not like those that I so often rail against. Help me, and help others to see and understand that. It will only be by our grace that we will continue to survive. So, help us God. Help us to display the Ten Commandments in our lives, and help us to live the "Golden Rule" in our actions. Thanks for listening God, you always do. Oh, and God? Thanks for caring too.
