Feb 27, 2003 You know, it must be so frustrating to be a liberal. It really must. Think about this: The liberals lost the midterm elections by a HUGE margin. The liberals have had to watch talk radio numbers skyrocket, and the liberals have had to see Fox News Channel take over CNN in the ratings. Of all of these things, I think that the last one has had to hurt the most. The Liberals used to LOVE the fact that they controlled all of those 24 hour news channels. CNN, MSNBC, and others were essentially the same channels with the same messages, just different talking heads. And then along came FOX News channel. Incredible. When one considers what FNC has really done it is enough to make your head spin. Consider this: Fox beats CNN every hour of every day by a huge margin, (at least 200,000 viewers) and Fox is not in nearly as many markets as CNN is. Did you get that? CNN is a product that is more available, yet Fox still beats them hands down. Why? I will tell you why. Just like the Fox network, FNC saw that there was a huge void in Cable News programming. The Fox network was built off of the backs of great shows like the "Simpsons", "Married with Children", "Cops", and "The X-Files". These shows were successfull because they were cutting through the old and stale sitcom formula that NBC, ABC, and CBS offered. No one thought that FOX woudl make it as a Network. What do they think now? No one thought that Fox News Channel would make it. What do they think now. They truly have a line up that is to be feared. From their morning show, "Fox and Freinds" to "O'Reilly" to "Hannity and Colmes", liberals fear them. Not only do liberals fear them, liberals will not go on those shows. Why? They are scared. They know that they will be asked to answer some tough questions. Can you imagine Hillary on O'Reilly? No? Neither could she. Nor could Gore. People see this and they realize that these people are scrared to answer for themselves. These people do not want to take responsibility for their actions. They don't want to be taken to task for their ideals. Isn't that what a liberal really is though? Someone who does not want to take responsibility for their actions. Someone who has a lot of really good ideas but alas these ideas are just not realistic. Liberals must be going crazy every time that they flip past the Fox News Channel. They must hate AM radio. They must hate the fact that Donahue BOMBED. What is their answer? START A LIBERAL RADIO NETWORK! Take my advice. Don't change around your 401k to invest in that little venture. Trust me on this one.
