Liberal Hate-Mail
Feb 26, 2003

Nothing says I love you like hate mail. I recently recieved the following from a reader of my column. I wanted to share it with you, dear reader, because it so typical of the way that liberals act. Notice, if you will that Ben does not even write six words before he is calling me a hypocrite and a bigot. You see, this is the liberal M.O. It is the way that they chose to deal with things that they do not like. They chose to call you names. Like 5-year olds. They do not like to pose questions that could lead to a real debate. Ben is obviously upset by my "Clinton-bashing" and my "warmongering". Ben is in the truest sense of the word, a liberal. Here is what is so confusing though: Liberals always preach acceptance, diversity, and tolerance. Why then, does Ben call me names? Why does he question my spiritual motives? Why does Ben think me uneducated? Why does Ben use those hurtful words against me? It's almost a hate crime. I am not liberal like Ben is and so he verbally assaults me in an e-mail. Where is the tolerance? Where is the diversity? Ben, Ben, Ben, you have deeply hurt me. I would expect so much more from you. I would expect you to be tolerant of me, after all, you and your ilk are always asking that I be tolerant. Ben, who here is the real hypocrite? Who here is the real bigot Ben? You see, liberals are tolerant of everything and everyone that AGREES with them. Watch out if you have a different ideology though. You may become the victim of a hate crime. Like me. I have called my counselor though and I am going to go for a session this afternoon. My self esteem is all shot to heck. Thanks Ben, thanks a lot:

Sir,
I take great exception to the hypocrisy and bigotry you display in your articles on useless-knowledge.com. I cannot fathom (even in your sarcastic jest) why you could claim that it's a good idea for the United States to go to war with Iraq because you pay too much for gas. I can safely assume that this war won't hit close to your home in any way. You won't have to go to war. You won't face the deaths of people you know and Iraqi soldiers, women, and children. Instead, in your naive way, you joke that it is a good idea to go to war because you don't want to spend that extra 15 cents per gallon on gas.

Then I continue on and read your article "The Evolutionists Don't Get It." How can this be? How can the same person that can joke and advocate war with Iraq talk about how God created all of us and we are all strong, great, wealthy, powerful, significant, and valuable? The same man that quotes Isaiah in one article says killing people is neccessary in the next war.

Finally, since you are a religious man and a Clinton-basher, let me remind you that you can't get to the 7th Commandment without passing the 6th Commandment. Please, sir, for the sake of us all, educate yourself on the topics you intend to write about. And if you're not going to do that, at least make your opinions consistent and less hypocritical.
