The Evolutionists Don't Get It
Feb 23, 2003

I know that this is not a religious site. but, it is Sunday and I felt compared to share this. The other day while reading the Bible (an activity that I would compell all of you to undertake) I came across something very interesting. I am a "creationist". Most people look at me like I am crazy when I tell them this. After all, I go to a secular college and I am surrounded by the "educational elites" all day. What I read the other day only solidifies by being a "creationist". The passage is from Isaiah 1:2. In this verse God says that he has "reared children". When I looked at the original Hebrew for this term I found out that it means that God has made all of us to be something. He has made all of us to be:

1) Strong
2) Great
3) Wealthy
4) Powerful

5) Significant
6) Valuable

Consider this. Is it just chance that mankind is all of these things? Think about where you fit into all of these catagories. In a wholistic sense, you cannot deny that you have all of these characteristics. These are the characteristics that set you apart from the animal kingdom and they are the characteristics that make you special. The Bible, foreseeing the evolutionists, answered their statement of fact that "we all crawled out of the ocean some millions of years ago" and we became who we are today. In Isaiah 23:4 the Bible says that the sea has testifies thus: "the sea has spoken: 'I have neither been in labor nor given birth; I have neither reared sons nor brought up daughters'" In other words, the ocean is saying,"don't give me credit for the existence of man". The evolutionists would have us believe that man is a product of chance and change over millions of years. They would have us believe that the universe came into being as a result of chaos. I know better. So do you. What if I were to say to you that the other day, while reading my daily fish-wrap, I heard and explosion in my back yard, and after finishing the sports section, I went back there to check it out. I then told you that due to the explosion I had a new Porche. Yep, big explosion, begot a new car. What would your response be? Well, I am sure that you would come and visit me in the mental institution.

Here is the reason that people chose to except the "order from chaos" theory. Because they don't have to accept responsibility for what their creator has made them to be. They don't have to be held up to the expectations of being strong, great, wealthy, powerful, significant, and valuable. They would rather believe that thier lives are the result of "order coming from chaos" because that appeals to the "lowest common denominator".
