Home Tips With Teresa

Become a Master Planner
Aug 14, 2002

Keep a list of errands by the back door. When family members leave the house, they can drop off the dry cleaning or mail a letter while they’re out.

Take your cell phone with you and keep a phone book in your car. That way you will be able to call ahead to check if an item is in stock or ask for directions.

Pick one store that sells most of the items you frequently need. You can return a movie and pick up milk at the same place.

Designate one day for errands and appointments rather than making a lot of quick trips throughout the week. Plan your route to save time.

Avoid errands by paying bills and ordering merchandise online. For prescriptions try www.prescriptionsbymail.com and www.usps.com for postage stamps.
