Dec 20, 2002 Canada was once a great nation founded on Christian principles and values. This great nation founded in 1867 on the scripture Psalm 72:8 states "He shall have Dominion also from sea to sea..." Once proud of its spiritual heritage Canada has now become a secular, humanistic society that basicly ignores God's laws and commandments and instead has allowed itself to become a multi-cultural society opposed to righteousness and sound biblical wisdom and teaching. Today we are seeing a rapid decline in immorality as Supreme Court of Canada continues to oppose God's laws. It is not uncommon to find middle eastern terrorists living and being financed and supported by Canada's welfare system. These same terrorists are now involved in raising financial support to many terrorist organizations around the world. If it was not for the government of George W. Bush forcing the Canadian government to tighten its security there could been many more terrorist actions against America than just the destruction of the World Trade Center. Canada is presently in a state of moral decay at an unprecedented rate as the Liberal Party of Canada led by Prime Minister Jean Chretien manipulates and coerces and appoints judges and politicians to follow his agenda. Just recently a school was forced by the Supreme Court of Canada to allow books on gay couples to be taught to young children of five and six years old. No child or parent needs to be subjected to that kind of immoral, sinfuless behaviour. This once great nation now has given pervaders of porn the legal right to read, own and write material on child pornography stating it has artistic merit. This is just a lame excuse of a small group of perverts to abuse the children of Canada for their own sinful use. Now this same Prime Minster wants to decriminalize marijuana, which is a narcotic, that is addictive and can lead to harder illegal drugs. If that is not bad enough this same government plans to legalize gay marriages in 2003. If that does not bring the judgement of God upon Canada then He will have to apoligize to Sodom and Gommorah which received the wrath of God for their debauchery and sin. Canada needs evangelization probably more than any western nation at this time. Even countries as backward and poor as India, Nigeria and Russia have more born again believers than Canada. We have fallen far from our Christian heritage and roots. No longer does the present government acknowledge God or Jesus Christ as was the case during the memorial service in Ottawa for the victims of 9/11. How different it was at the memorial service in Washington, D.C. on September 14th, 2001 when American evangelist, Billy Graham brought America to repentance and prayer. There is still a remnant of God's people in Canada that are like a candle in the darkness but without a mighty move of God surely judgement is fast approaching. It may take a major catastrophe in Canada to bring this nation to its knees. It seems people are more intersted in their retire- ment savings and health care than their spiritual condition. When men like Jean Chretien are judged before a holy and righteous God, no amount of money will save them from the roaring fires of hell where the will spend eternity because of their refusal to except Jesus Christ as Savior. With great power comes great responsibility and the men and women who govern Canada need to seriously consider how they will be judged for their actions as they continue to deny the truth of Jesus Christ. This has been a warning not only to Canada's eminent destruction but to America and other nations who challenge God.
