Middle East, and purpose of Bush intervention
June 11, 2003

The conflict between Israel and the Palestines will always be a conflict. The reason for it is simple,.. Nobody wants peace.

Israel wants just one thing,.. to get rid of all Palestinians, or to have them live as a secondary race, like the germans wanted the jewish to be. The Palestines want to be all powerful just like Israel wants to be, by getting rid of all the Israelians.

In a case like this where hate between the 2 parties is based on religion, land and power, there is no solution. In nature a conflict like this is ended by one being completely destroyed by the other. The reason that this is not happening is simple too,... Both parties maintain equal power, because both parties get help from bigger powers. (the West on the side of Israel, the Arab world on the side of the Palestines.

The west, with the USA in the lead, in the time of the Clinton administration was really trying to bring peace between the 2 parties. Clinton especially was doing a good job. But as I mentioned before, in the end, the hate wins.

Bush is now trying it again with the Road Map. This plan will fail even faster because of a simple reason: Bush has no love for this peace between Israel and the Palestines. He really does not seem to care one bit for anything that is muslim. It is so obvious with this man that the only reason for him to be there is because he needs to stay friends with the other Arab countries. This, in order to continue his war on terrorism.

So if Bush doesn`t believe in it, then the Palestines and Israelians don`t believe in it neither. One day after Bush left, the killings started again. The Palestines trying to kill as many Israelians as they can, and the Israelians, trying to kill the leaders of Hamas, but with the tactics of a doctor with a butcher knife.

The only way to get rid of this problem is to force it,.. that is what Bush believes in, and Israel and the Palestines should keep in mind that Bush may send his army again. Fighting each other is one thing, but when 300.000 soldiers with very high tech weapons start to enter, you are farther from your goal then ever before.

Why does religion do these things to people? Practically every religion teaches to respect other people, but many people use that same religion to kill as many people as they can. I am not religious. One of the reasons for this is that it seems to me that in name of God, Allah or what ever name you prefer, there have been more people killed than by any other reason.

Use Religion what it is meant for, social binding. Don`t use it for other means. (This goes for every religion)
