Jan 24, 2003 Slowly I move closer. I can not really see what my chances are, so I don’t get too close yet. It is all a matter of choosing the right moment. But what is the right moment? Do I wait until she looks at me, or do I wait until she is looking in the other direction? Or maybe I should wait till she sits in the right position. I don’t know what to do so I wait a little longer. It is always so difficult in these situations. And I am not that experienced either. I have been 3 times before in this type of situation and it was always very exciting. In my favor I have to admit that I got lucky 2 out of the 3 times. The first time I tried went very wrong, with me ending up with a painful cheek. Very embarrassing it was I have to say. My friends and especially my colleagues had a lot of fun. The second and third time I was more successful and my embarrassment was gone and I gained respect. I’m still not one of the best because I’m still young, only 22, and the rest has been doing this for much longer than I. But still I have the respect and after each success I had a great time, as you can imagine. But that was then, now I have to be successful again. I love doing this, and with all the excitement it is difficult to stay calm. She already noticed me, and I am not sure if that is good. Maybe it would have been better if she had noticed me a little later. My heart is beating fast and I can feel it in my neck. Too much excitement is not good, I have to be calm otherwise it is too obvious what my intentions are. She looks at me again, straight in my eyes even. She stands up and walks in my direction. Will it be this easy this time? I don’t have to make any moves? That would be too easy. Ah no, she sits down again in another place, where she can keep a better eye on me. That will make things easier for me too though. I already am looking forward to the moment I will make my move. How will she respond? Aggressively, or maybe just calm and accepting me. I hope for the last of course. I make my move and,..... What is this man doing? Email me (getting_there@uol.com.br) and I will email you back with the answer.
