1.Think happy thoughts
2.Go shopping OR window shopping
3.Play a sport
4.Take frequent breaks
5.If you're religious, pray; attend services.
6.Visit a travel agency, pick up some brochures, and plan a vacation.
7.Do volunteer work.
8.Hug a stuffed animal.
9.Lay out your clothes, pack lunches, etc., the night before.
10.Allow extra time to get to work.
11.Don't overschedule on Mondays.
12.Do some simple task that'll get you involved in something else.
13.Gaze out a window; daydream.
14.Eat breakfast.
15.Exercise your brain by watching a foreign language film show or doing a crossword puzzle.
16.Do your most stressful tasks first.
17.Take some vitamin C.
18.Eat some candy.
19.Sing!
20.Play a hand-held video game.
21.Don't watch the evening news!
22.Get a pet.
23.Take an inventory of your strengths.
24.Don't compare yourself to others.
25.Take that first step toward your goal.
26.Give yourself a pat on the back for an accomplishment, even if no one else does.
27.Try,try again if you make a mistake.
28.Try to maintain an optimistic outlook.
29.Ask yourself "does this really matter?"
30.Cut phone calls short, if at all possible.
31.Stand on tiptoes and stretch other muscles.
32.Turn on the radio.
33.Think of your three favorite books or movies.
34.Hug a pet!
35.Hug,give, or receive one.
36.Look at some trees, flowers, or other nature scenes.
37.Spend a few minutes alone in peace.
38.Stay curious about the world.
39.Drink chamomile or almond tea.

42.Remember that "crap happens."
43.Add bright or green accents throughout your home.
44.Use 40-watt soft light bulbs or a few candles.
45.Get comfortable furniture!
46.Get a rocking chair.
47.Gaze at a fish tank.
48.Get rid of clutter.
49.Drink some cola.
50.Put on lavender, freesia, or a vanilla scent.
51.Vent your frustration (in constructive ways).
52.Keep the "big picture" in mind.

56.Practice preventive maintenance on your car, home, teeth, etc.

58.Make promises sparingly and keep them faithfully.

63.Listen to, or heed, your gut instinct.
