Dec 29, 2003 Mark Geragos has called out the big gun. The "glove don't fit" defense with its hero of the day, Johnnie Cochran. Even more important was the headline "Jacko Finds Islam". Michael Jackson thinks Louis Farrakhan is "da bomb". Wow! The "double whammy", the "whole shebang", the "complete encyclopedia of the outrageous and the absurd". (Just thought I'd throw that in) Anyone else out there want an interview? Jacko wears gloves right? Johnnie just has to find one that doesn't fit and viola! You must acquit! There is speculation as to why Michael Jackson would choose now to convert to Islam. No speculation for me. He did it (and maybe really didn't) because to persecute Jackson now would be to persecute Islam. Everyone knows that no one in America is allowed to persecute any religion except Christianity. Oh, there may be that "money thing" too. Mr. Jackson is still a major "cash cow" and I hear the good Rev. Farrakhan's 'Nation of Islam' is in a hurt for donations because of its blatant anti-Americanism. Michael Jackson and Islam were made for each other. Jacko and Johnnie are a match made in the 'Burlington Coat Factory'. (They sell gloves there too). Besides, Mark Geragos has to prepare his "Saddam" defense. I really thought Johnnie had that covered, but with Johnnie taking Jacko's case, that will free Mark up for Hussein. Gee, I hope Scott Peterson appreciates the company he's in. I will be serious for a moment. You don't pull a Johnnie Cochran out of the woodwork unless your status is O.J.-like. Yes, I know, innocent until proven guilty. Unless of course, you have enough money to prove otherwise, and if you don't have the money you don't get the high-powered representation but must accept what is available. What is happening is what has happened. I think the prosecutor in this case is not going to let himself see another payoff for silence. The defense, seeing this will go to trial has not only hired a larger piece of artillery, but has started a media campaign to ensure everyone knows how "saintly" Michael is. Now Jacko has his passport back and he is headed in the vicinity of France and beyond. He can afford to give up 3 million in bond money. That is chump change. If that were you or I, we'd be sitting behind bars talking to a court appointed defense schlub, waiting for the hangman. I think Jackson will stick around though, as long as he can continue to get those self-serving softball intervievs with his adoring media outlets. Mr. Geragos has already tried this case in the media anyway. All of Jacko's Hollywood buds are supporting him. Louis Farrakhan has welcomed his money into his fold and Johnnie Cochran has placed his career on Jacko's dole. They say most marriages are made in Heaven.
