Gore is to Dean as Hillary is to Sunday?
Dec 20, 2003

Gore said, “It was a mistake to get us into a quagmire over there. So don’t tell me that because Howard Dean was the only major candidate who was right about the war, that that somehow calls his judgment into question on foreign policy.” With these words and his belief that the invasion of Iraq is a major foreign policy “blunder”, Al Gore endorsed Howard Dean for the demic-rat nomination for President.

Dean introduced Gore as, “the man who got 500,000 more votes than the occupant of the White House” and “the moral leader of this country.”

And now, let us examine the abject stupidity of these two individuals.

Shall we begin by understanding that war is a conflict, usually between forces of evil guys against forces of good guys. War is fought usually as a series of battles. Each battle is designed to cause a weakening of one force or the other until this weakening disables one force or the other to the extent that it can no longer maintain aggression or defense. Upon disability, the disabled force is placed in a position in which it must either surrender or be completely destroyed?

Might we also understand that an evil force attacked America and killed three thousand of our citizens in an act of war that outstripped the evil of the Lusitania, the Maine and Pearl Harbor collectively? Because of that evil act of aggression our President told the world we weren’t going to stand by and let our evil enemies get away with that. That our evil enemies now had what they had asked for? They were going to get their war and anyone who wanted to support our evil enemies could do so at their own peril?

Let us understand Mr.’s Gore and Dean. Iraq is but one battle in a war that will not end until our evil enemies no longer have the funds, the weaponry or the capacity to ever hurt innocent Americans on American soil again.

Gore would not have fought the war. It was a “blunder”. Dean would not have fought the war. He was the only candidate that was “right” about that. Both men apparently believe we do not have a right to defend our citizens. We have to take what our evil enemies dish out. Three thousand Americans can lay dead in premature graves and Gore and Dean would let that slide. Afghanistan would still be rotting with Taliban. Iraq would still be filling mass graves.

Gore, “moral leader”?! The man who conceded on election night then withdrew his concession and attempted to sue his way into office? Heck! He failed to take his own home state. If he had taken Tennessee he would have won. Too bad Mr. Dean. Gore LOST the election. He LOST the electoral vote 271 to 266. He LOST the plurality of the states 30 to 20. He LOST the plurality of counties 2434 to 677. He LOST the plurality of the population within those counties 143 million to 127 million. He LOST in square mileage of the country 2,427,000 square miles to 580,000 square miles. One half million in a popular vote means squat, and you know that Mr. Dean. Using your own reasoning, Clinton LOST both his elections because he failed to take a plurality in the popular vote in both. Mr. Dean, Gore LOST! Your so-called “moral leader” taught me to sue if I can’t get my way and take it all the way to the Supreme Court if I have to, and then pray it is a good day for liberals.

Just one more thing. You haven’t even faced one Primary yet and Hillary is just waiting to be drafted at the convention. You two guys aren’t paying attention. Hillary’s getting all the Sunday Show talk time. You might want to look into that.
