President George W. Bush In The Lion’s Den – Part II

By Michael John McCrae
Sept. 25, 2004

September 21st, 2004, my President went before the United Nations General Assembly. The United Nations, united against America and all things Jewish.

President George W. Bush, throughout his speech, proved that he still has respect for the high ideals stated in the UN Charter. He also proved that he intends to ensure that at least America will stand to uphold those ideals.

President Bush spoke of “freedom”. He spoke of “human dignity”. He spoke of “democracy”. His speech was laced with incredible amounts of optimism for his audience of dictators and petty kings who could care less about “human dignity” and more about where their next lobster dinner would be enjoyed.

“Because we believe in human dignity.” was the very tactful phrase the president used throughout his speech. He even ascribed this to the world body; when much of that world body has proven no such belief. Does China believe in human dignity? Does the Sudan, or Zimbabwe, or Myanmar, or Saudi Arabia, or any other of the counted dictatorships in the world? There are 10,000 people a month dying in the Sudanese desert. That could be stopped tomorrow. But no; we need resolutions; we need sanctions; but even before that we need to debate the need for resolutions and sanctions. We need more talk while people die. That attitude got 400,000 people planted in Iraq’s mass graves. It will be the same for the Sudan.

The President challenged that: “At this hour, the world is witnessing terrible suffering and horrible crimes in the Darfur region of Sudan, crimes my government has concluded are genocide. The United States played a key role in efforts to broker a cease fire and we are providing humanitarian assistance to the Sudanese people. Rwanda and Nigeria have deployed forces…to help… The Security Council adopted a resolution [to urge] the Sudan to stop flights by military aircraft in Darfur…I call on the government of Sudan to honor the cease fire it signed, and to stop the killing in Darfur.”

You will notice that our government is the only one willing to call a spade a spade. It is genocide, pure and simple. The Arab Muslims want all the African Muslims dead and they are doing all they can to make that happen. The UN is “studying” the question of genocide because 1) America says it is genocide, but we don’t want to listen to America. 2) If the UN admits it is genocide, they have another “Milosevic” situation for crimes against humanity; and the government of Sudan faces the same type of ouster as the government of Milosevic for his genocidal policies in Kosovo.

President Bush reminded the UN that America will ensure the UN is responsible to its resolutions. Why do you think they are so hesitant now to form a resolution against Sudan? Why is the current resolution so weak? Why will every other resolution be a sword without a point or a cutting edge? Well, once any date is set, then it is up to someone to pay Sudan off on the promise of the resolution. Any guesses which country that responsibility would eventually fall upon? FRANCE??? I think not!

Now tell me.

The President speaks of “human dignity, freedom and democracy”; the three things most hated by the world’s dictatorships and Communist and Socialist governments. But, why would anyone be so set AGAINST such noble goals? What is wrong with freedom? What is wrong with recognizing human dignity and allowing human rights? Well, it could be because such ideals do not put money into the pockets of crooks. Such ideals do not permit the few to tax the crap out of the many; then kill them when they can’t pay.

Shortly after President Bush finished his speech at the UN, John Kerry, the man who trusts the UN as much as he trusts his own mommy said our President: “does not have the credibility to lead the world.”

That’s fine Mr. Kerry; really. Who the heck would want to lead the world? Just leading America is job enough. Besides, Mr. Kerry is right. President Bush is too honorable a man to be able to lead the world’s thuggish dictatorial slime and blood covered king-type-wannabes.

What the President did was tell the world leaders that they better start acting like world leaders or get left behind. The President told that august body of do-nothing diplomats that America is not going to lie down just because they fail in their duties toward human civilization.

“THE PROPER RESPONSE TO DIFFICULTY, IS NOT RETREAT, IT IS TO PREVAIL!” (George W. Bush, September 21, 2004)

Well, my little bubbas and barbettes, that sounds like leadership to me.

Mr. Kerry, please step away from the microphone unless you have something actually constructive and helpful to offer. Thank you.

President Bush concluded: “History will honor the high ideals of this organization. Let history also record that our generation of leaders followed through on these ideals, even in adversity…I believe we will rise to this moment, because I know the character of so many nations and leaders represented here today. And I have faith in the transforming power of freedom.”

Sadly, that is a challenge only our current coalition can take pride in. The rest of those countries are not free societies and therefore will not lift a finger to take down any dictatorship that mirrors its own anti- humanitarian values.

My President stood in the lion’s den; in faith; believing in the “power of freedom”. I heard that. I saw that. I trust that.

God Bless President George W. Bush. God Bless the United States of America.

About the Author: Michael John McCrae is an Independent, Conservative, Christian who has been personally insulted as a voter because John Kerry thinks the "Heart and Soul of America" lays in the "X-rated sexual innuendo" of Whoopi Goldberg. Well, Michael McCrae thinks America is better than that. Michael McCrae believes there is at least some morality left. So Michael McCrae is going to leave this here (until after the election) as a reminder to all of what John Kerry and John Edwards believe the Real America to be. They believe America's "heart and soul" resides in the "X-rated sexual innuendo" of Whoopi Goldberg. You can draw your own conclusions. Email: macswordV@hotmail.com
