Aug 30, 2004 Gee! I’m so sorry. I completely overlooked the 200 mark. My 6 part article on Matthew Chapter Seven took me right to the 200 mark and I didn’t even realize it. Then John Kerry started calling for censorship; Chris Matthews attacked a fine young conservative female writer who I happen to admire very much; and I needed to go to my barber in Doha, Kuwait for a trim. (It is a very scary thing to sit in a barber chair around here.) Anyway, I never even got the chance to think up a blockbuster title or a great subject or anything. Next thing I knew I was writing article 203 (This one). My conservative colleagues here in useless- knowledge.com have really been after John Kerry. We all know there are some very good reasons for that, but none of those reasons were going to be part of the 200 column milestone. I was contemplating an expose on James McGreevey, but I still believe I have to hold off on him until the dust is settled. Joe Piscopo has been asked to run for Governor of New Jersey. It is interesting that the democrats would ask another comedian right after the fiasco with McGreevey; but who know what goes through the minds of democrats anymore. McGreevey says he’s going to hang in until November 15th and there’s a serious rumor that I’m starting about Bill Clinton looking at properties in Piscataway. I have been contemplating also voting for Mark C. Durfee. I agree we should attack Monaco and liberate all those American dollars. That way I will get to keep my tax cut. A Vote for mark is a vote for CRAP! GO MARK! I have wanted to write notes of consolation to my more liberal colleagues in useless-knowledge.com; but I am sure every one would be quite useless because not one of them seem to be feeling the least bit used by their senior liberal representative. I guess it really is “business as usual”. Did I want to discuss Ralph Nader? Not really, but he is having a heck of a time getting his name on ballots in the so called “battleground” states. Every state that is considered a close call between Kerry and Bush is not giving Nader the time of day. Nader takes at least two points from Kerry wherever he goes. He was my hero in the 2000 election because he scored some 90,000 votes. But Nader’s love for the Arab is another reason to scrap them all and VOTE DURFEE! And the Load of Crap Party! Wow! 203 columns of useless-knowledge! That’s a lot of words. I did read a short column the other day concerning General William Boykin. Remember him? Well, I wrote an article of support for General Boykin almost a year ago (The Borking of Boykin 27 Oct.2003). I suppose because President Bush refused to condemn his remarks to Christian people in Christian venues (Churches) during Christian services; he has remained under intense investigation and is now, after almost a year of having liberals following him around and digging through his garbage cans, facing more condemnation for his remarks of a year ago. Oh, and a 260 dollar travel stipend he failed to claim on one of his travel vouchers. (Say Liberal PORK, 5 times real fast!) But let this be a lesson to all of us. Don’t ever try to explain to anyone the truth that Mohammed was really a not nice guy who murdered people in very cruel ways if he didn’t like you. And never, ever say anything to Christian people about the evils of Islam and the radical elements of the Muslim nations of the Middle east. And never, ever say Jesus is better than Islam. That will get your butt investigated forever, and eventually Islam will get the result they want; justification for all their fundamentalist laws in the name of their religion of peace, and the condemnation of someone daring to tell the truth about that previous tactful comment. (Any similarity to the current Swift Boat Vets situation with the Democratic party is purely coincidental.) My very first column was “Even Independents Have Opinions”. I suppose I’ve expressed a few of those over the past 203 columns. None of those opinions have changed; so I guess I will eventually have another 200 columns. My in-box is really stuffed with things I have wanted to comment on. Again, I am sorry for missing that 200 column milestone; but I am not sad at having surpassed it. As long as Matt allows, I’ll keep sending them in. I am an opinionated guy. Oh! You’ve noticed? Good. We have an election coming up. Make your vote count. ------------ About the Author: Michael John McCrae is an Independent, Conservative, Christian who has been personally insulted as a voter because John Kerry thinks the "Heart and Soul of America" lays in the "X-rated sexual innuendo" of Whoopi Goldberg. Well, Michael McCrae thinks America is better than that. Michael McCrae believes there is at least some morality left. So Michael McCrae is going to leave this here (until after the election) as a reminder to all of what John Kerry and John Edwards believe the Real America to be. They believe America's "heart and soul" resides in the "X-rated sexual innuendo" of Whoopi Goldberg. You can draw your own conclusions.
