Aug 26, 2004 “Not everyone who says to me Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, I never knew you, Away from me, you evildoers.” (Mt.7:21-23) For all who think Jesus will accept every form of Christianity that comes before him in his judgment; think again. There are a lot of branches of the Christian Church that will end up in the fire because they offer “stones” and “snakes” and “planks” and “bad fruit”. I have been sent many written examples of such bad fruit. Then I have been likened to these instances. It is very interesting that I quote only the Bible and I only speak back its plainly written words. I do not quote Confucius, Buddha, Mohammed, Falwell, Robertson, Graham, Schuler etc. None of those folks walked with Christ. Jesus said that the qualifier is: “I never knew you.” There are plenty of Christians that know about Jesus; then there are Christians that are known by Jesus. Now, we do not judge. But, we can know them by their fruits and avoid the wolves in the clothing of sheep. The Scriptures are full of warnings about what sin is and how to avoid those who would lead us into it. It is all about individual faith and trust in God. God is the faithful one. He doesn’t ever give us stones or snakes or moldy bread. When Jesus returns, he is either going to know us or not. If he doesn’t know us, we are done. He will know his own because the ones he knows will be standing there well fed with good bread and bearing good fruit. The ones he “never knew” will be holding stones or playing with snakes. “Not everyone who says to me Lord, Lord…” The Scriptures admonish every Christian to examine themselves thoroughly. Every little “speck” must be gone. No sin will be tolerated. Every sin will be judged. NEXT: Conclusion The Wise/The Foolish ------------ About the Author: Michael John McCrae is an Independent, Conservative, Christian who has been personally insulted as a voter because John Kerry thinks the "Heart and Soul of America" lays in the "X-rated sexual innuendo" of Whoopi Goldberg. Well, Michael McCrae thinks America is better than that. Michael McCrae believes there is at least some morality left. So Michael McCrae is going to leave this here (until after the election) as a reminder to all of what John Kerry and John Edwards believe the Real America to be. They believe America's "heart and soul" resides in the "X-rated sexual innuendo" of Whoopi Goldberg. You can draw your own conclusions.
