Aug 25, 2004 “Watch out for false prophets, they come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.” (Mt.7:15) We have to look at this warning from Jesus separately for a moment. There are too many “prophets” out there who believe sin can be accommodated by Christianity. There is no worse doctrine than that. Pretty words of love cover the truth that sin kills. Any true prophet of God will not hesitate to warn against sin. A false prophet enjoins others to tolerate the sinful in their sins. This was the ultimate downfall of Israel, and it will be the ultimate downfall of the true Christian faith. “By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes of thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Likewise every tree that bears good fruit; but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and is thrown into the fire. Thus by their fruit you will recognize them.” (vs.16-21) Part of the argument against my personal faith in Christ is that it causes division and stresses people out about sin. Well, since the Bible is considered a sword that divides, and considering that sinners are supposed to be convicted about their sins; then I have nothing to be ashamed of. I have never been ashamed of speaking the gospel of Christ, because it is the message of salvation to everyone who believes, Much of the “fruit” we see coming out of the nation’s seminaries is the proof of the Lord’s statement above. There are “Christian” groups that do not preach the resurrection; Jonah was never swallowed by a fish; Jericho’s walls did not succumb to Joshua’s army supported by God’s miracle; God didn’t part the sea for Moses; Jesus never said that a man MUST be born again to see his kingdom; the Bible is bunk; Sociology and Psychology have replace pure faith; social services and acceptance and toleration of all forms of sin bolster church attendance. Religions all now deal with “love” alone; God’s wrath toward sin does not exist anymore. All that “Christian Fruit” is rotten to its core. All sin is sin. No sin will get past the “narrow gate”. Sin is a “speck”, a “plank”, the “stone”, the “snake”, the “bad fruit”; none of which is acceptable to God who condemns all sin of every type. So Michael McCrae is going to leave this here (until after the election) as a reminder to all of what John Kerry and John Edwards believe the Real America to be.
