Nov 10, 2003 Excuse me. For the next few moments I have to convert to Islam. Why? Because I have not read any articles by any other member of the moderate or nicey-nicey branches of Islam that condemn the evil and vile practices of the radical islamists. In fact, all I've been hearing lately is about the wonderful speeches being voiced by moderate Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad and all the agreement he's been getting in his anti- semitic remarks from those attending his conferences and party teas. So now I am Islamic. I will be on the side of the moderates and the nicey-nicey's so I can say what they all want to say but seem to be afraid to say. First I would like to condemn all my evil radical brothers who have besmerched the name of Islam for the furtherance of their own malignant agendas. A pox on Arafat and his never ending war of agression against Israel. A pox on Saddam Hussein for all his mass murders and his jailing of children, and his allowing his sons their crimes against humanity. A pox on Syria for its continued support of radical islamist terrorists and its blatant anti- semitism. A pox on Iran for all its lies and deceit and then using Islam to justify such activity. A pox on Egypt, Lybia, Sudan, Somolia and Lebanon for breeding terrorism and subjucating whole generations of youth into jihad. Now, if you will excuse me, I will convert back to my former Christian self. But, if my moderate and nicey-nicey Islamic brothers fail to defend the innocent and condemn the radicals, I'll convert right back and start handing out the pox again. ------------ About the Author: Independent, Conservative, Christian.
