June 29, 2004 Gail Fonda wrote: “I still like Bill Clinton.”, in her 26 June article. I can only agree. I like Clinton too. Willie Jeff is THE role model for liberal society. He committed many crimes (all well documented) while in office in Arkansas and the Washington; yet was able to skate out of every “jam” with a lie and a smile. It is sad that Ms. Fonda’s fondness for Clinton blinds her to the fact that one person can only have one character. Her “like” for Clinton also blinds her to certain truths concerning him. Ms. Fonda actually believes Clinton accomplished something while President. History and fact show quite otherwise. “The economy was fine.” Because of the fiscal policies implemented by President Reagan that Clinton left alone for 6 years. His later meddling and tax increase on Social Security recipients was the main cause of 1) a surplus of funds the government should never have amassed and 2) the recession inherited by George Bush because the government was stealing so much from American taxpayers they could not afford anything but necessities. “We didn’t go to war”, Ms. Fonda, in preference to appeasement; which is why we face major foreign problems with North Korea and Iran today. Clinton’s three rejections of Bin Laden is why the WTO no longer exists and why the population of America became 3000 souls poorer on September 11th, 2001. Clinton achieved nothing. Clinton was a draft dodger. He was the guy who ran away. George Bush has opened his entire military historical record, because he nothing to be ashamed of; and you lie when you insist Bush was ever AWOL. What Clinton believed in was that he could circumvent the law as long as he did not get caught. He was above the law. When he did get caught, he would apologize, give back the stolen money or bribe the poor girl he raped to silence; then go off and do it all over again with the full knowledge and assistance of his enabler wife. Clinton made his living as a career politician. He never “worked” a day in his life. You are lying again, Ms. Fonda, when you infer “Mr. Clinton didn’t have a Supreme Court to appoint him as President. He did it the right way… he got elected!” First: it is fortunate that this nation does not “run-off” the position of President when a candidate gets less than a clear 51 percent of the national vote, or Clinton would have lost both his ’92 and ’96 elections. But to infer Bush was given the office is to blatantly ignore the fact Bush had the majority of the Electoral College vote. It is that total that determines who was “elected” and who was not. The Supreme Court, which never should have had to be involved in the first place ruled that the election was proper, and no amount of attempted theft by Al (I concede, then Unconcede) Gore was going to change the vote total in Florida. And what of Clinton’s foundation for AIDS cure? I will have a separate article on this because Willie Jeff’s “foundation” wasn’t even on the radar screen until President Bush announced his $15 billion grant to Africa to fight the epidemic. Guess who’s “foundation gets a chance to scarf up the bulk of the $15 billion? Yeah; Willie Jeff’s “foundation”. Go figure. So yes, Ms. Fonda; I like Clinton too because he reminds us all how really bad a President can be; how evil, underhanded and manipulative; and yet still come up smelling like a rose instead of the manure he was planted in. In the recent words of Monica Lewinsky, the major one of whom Clinton, “caused a lot of emotional pain.” Ms. Lewinsky is quoted calling Willie Jeff a “liar and a creep” and that she was “upset” because he was “unable to tell the truth.” So, we see Clinton has not changed and my faith that he will continue to prove himself no better than a “scumbag” is assured. Now, Mr. Burns, lest I forget you, First: Thank you so much for putting me even close to the same conservative posture as Bill O’Reilly (not really conservative), Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter. That is a compliment of high order. I “shant” forget it. “A Liberal Call To Arms”, was everything I could hope for. Here, a liberal, calling for his fellow liberals who have never met an anti-gun law they didn’t like, to “take up arms”. “HOO-BOY!” as my Uncle Leonard would say, “That’s stepping in it!” Max, I don’t rant, I don’t rail, I tell the facts and I quote the quotes. The truth is liberals love walking into open doors and slipping on banana peels they themselves threw on the floor. Thank God Clinton is not President anymore! It only took Carter 4 years to destroy the American economy while it took 8 years for President Reagan to get us out of Carter’s mess. Clinton tried to destroy Reagan’s economy right away with socialized medicine, but that failed. He had to live with Reagan’s successful economy until his 1993 tax increases against Social Security recipients had the desired liberal effect; making paupers out of the nation’s elderly while the government enjoyed the surplus gained by punitive taxes. You mention George Bush’s alcoholism as if it is in the same category as Kennedy’s drunken drive off a bridge resulting in the death of an innocent girl he was having an affair with. You mention Bush’s drunken driving as if it is in the same category as Barney Frank’s indiscretion with little boys. You mention Bush’s honorable military service and discharge as if that is equivalent to Clinton’s draft dodging. Max, don’t you really see any differences there? Are these all really equivalent offenses? As for Moore, Franken, Robbins and Streisand; if these people are the cream of liberal expression, why haven’t they been tapped to serve as counsel for the democrat Party? Why haven’t the liberal office holders endorsed any of them for public office? Why weren’t they asked to serve in Clinton’s administration, or to run for governor of California or Nevada? Could it be, because, standing next to the likes of Rumsfeld, Rice, Powell and Rod Paige; they’re all idiots? I don’t consider any of these liberals “traitors”. I consider their opinions worthless in our nation’s cause against terror. Their opinions support the terrorist view. Is that what liberalism really stands for? Liberals are still beating the “Abu Gharib” drum; when the investigation had begun 5 months prior to the disclosure of the photographs. No fewer than 19 liberal and moderate Senators and Congressmen had been sent letters months prior to the pictures, requesting investigations that never took place. It was the Pentagon itself that was in the process of cleaning up its own mess when liberal media decided that it would be better for the whole Arab world to be up-in-arms over the demented actions of a handful of idiots. The liberals screamed, “Fire Rumsfeld!” who had nothing to do with any of it. The conservatives (me included) asked that the people with direct leadership and responsibility for the prison be court marshaled and imprisoned for a long time. Which was the more appropriate response, Max? Jack Ryan’s an idiot and he deserves whatever happens to him; but to compare Ryan to Clinton is wrong. Clinton’s closet has a whole lot more skeletons in it and I don’t think Ryan ever raped anyone. The Liberal Democrat Party of America has been bashing President Bush every day for the past three and one half years and I don’t believe for a moment they are about to stop. Another liberal judge is quoted comparing the rise of George Bush with that of Adolph Hitler. I thought Judges were to be impartial in all matters. I guess that rule only applies for conservative judges. I am currently reading Senator Zell Miller’s book: “A National Party No More”. Granted, Zell Miller is a conservative, but he is a staunch Democrat. He is what Democrat used to mean. He explains how the Democrat Party no longer exists. I recommend this book to you Mr. Burns. Zell Miller has described John Kerry as the: “out- of-touch, ultraliberal from Taxachusetts.” I need not add anything to that. Now, members of his own party hate him without real cause, other than he is a true conservative standing up for the principles of conservatism. Max, I am allowed my opinions as you are allowed yours. As I said, I don’t rail, I don’t rant, and I just call them the way they should be. Abortion is murder. Homosexuality is a crime against the One True God of Heaven. Liberal courts have no right to take the powers of the legislature to make laws from the bench. All terrorists should be killed before they can kill innocent women and children. The NEA should be disbanded and we should get back to a standard core curriculum for the nation’s public schools. We should allow, as it states in the Constitution, the free exercise of religious faith in America. Atheists are completely free to move to any country without a god. Premeditated murder deserves Capital Punishment. Have you gone out to buy your gun yet, Max? ------------ About the Author: Independent, Conservative, Christian.
