June 27, 2004 I may be stuck in the middle of nowhere in particular, but I’m listening. The media actually asked the President the other day if he “ordered” torture of al Qaeda prisoners. The President was gracious in his response to a question that never should have been asked. The media are simpleminded, ideological midgets of one-tracked liberal leftist-ism. In short, (and lacking all tact) media sucks! But my gloves have come off now. Hey, Teddy! When you killed Mary-Jo, did you cry? Hey, Barney! When you made sweet nothings to that page, did you laugh? Hey, Hillary! When you hid those documents and lied about it, could you sleep at night? Hey, Willie Jeff! When you raped that poor woman, did you discover the definition of “is”? No. Media will never dig into those tombs of liberal history. The preference is always to rewrite or to completely avoid anything negative to liberalism. In short, (and lacking all tact) the liberal democrat party (LDP) of America sucks right along with its liberal media! Two Americans have been captured and beheaded by the most evil, scum-sucking cowards in the world. I believe they have proven themselves unworthy to remain alive within any reasonably sane society. It is flat-out time to destroy every vestige of terrorism being harbored by the societies of Iran, Syria, Palestine and elsewhere. The gloves must come off here and we must begin using every available resource to seek out and destroy these murderers. Now, I know there are those, (Kerry, Biden, Kennedy) who would prefer we retreat in the face of adversity. And there are others like Sen. McCain who speaks out of both sides of this whole argument. And I suppose the voters will ultimately decide in November, the direction of America in the world’s affairs. So each person has to ask himself: “Do I support the killing of innocent people at the hands of terrorist elements, or do I support the effort to destroy the enemies of America?” There can be no fence sitting here because it is NOT the economy, stupid! Oh. Did anyone bother to read the report about Russian intelligence supporting the contention that Iraq was planning terrorist activity against the United States? Oh, Russia was still going to remain pacifistic toward Iraq, but it was nice of them to share some intelligence about possible assaults against innocent Americans. It is a plus that this intelligence reinforced other sources, which eventually prompted the pre-emptive protective measure of eliminating Hussein as a major terrorist ally. So I am stuck in a small camp without transportation and without an immediate news source. I have no idea when I can get this article posted. I did read a neat book today by Michael K. Deaver and his 30 years with Ronald Reagan. I read “A Different Drummer” straight through. MAN! I wish that could have been me. One more thing I noticed; when Congress voted the other day to authorize 20,000 new soldiers for the Army, because, as John McCain whined, “We didn’t have enough people on the ground [YES WE DID, WE WON], and now we are paying a very, very heavy price for that incredible mistake [still fewer than 900 and a whole lot fewer than Vietnam, which we could have won] on the part of the civilian leadership [an underhanded comment aimed at George Bush] in the Pentagon [remember, Bush is Commander In Chief] of the United States of America.” This is McCain blow-hard-ism at its finest. The next day John McCain extolled the virtue of the war against terrorism in his introduction of Bush during a stop at Fort Lewis, Washington. Anyway, Kerry was absent from the vote for the additional troops, which was in keeping with his continued non-support of the American military. Yeah! He’s the guy that wants to be Commander in Chief. Well, I want to be reincarnated as Elvis, go figure. No one wants to admit that we have done an outstanding job so far in the war against terrorism. Every death is a sad thing. If we do not place our soldiers on the line of defense to protect America, then we, like Israel will have our women and children taking the brunt of the murderous ways of terrorists. The soldiers die, because it is their duty to place themselves between the murderer and the innocent. They are volunteers, and they accept the duty. They deserve our complete honor, respect and support for what they have done and continue to do every day. John Kerry does not offer any support at all to those who protect him. ------------ About the Author: Independent, Conservative, Christian. Married with 5 children raised and two grandchildren.
