Mar 31, 2004 That’s it. I’m done. No more liberal press for me. The week of 8-12 March 2004 was a banner week for gays in “USA Today”. In “Language lags behind the flurry of gay marriages” a picture of Rosie O’Donnell kissing his/her wife/husband/spouse adorns an article asking the question “Just what are we supposed to call each other now?” Too many fools spread too many foolish opinions and none of the article makes any sense. In “Civil unions gain support” “USA Today” made a third of a page article (pro gay) about one of its own polls. The first sentence: “A majority of Americans favor legalizing civil unions for gay couples as an alternative to same sex marriage…” In the column right next to the article was a companion article about the first gay marriage performed in the State of New Jersey. I was not invited. In “Justices let ruling against scouts stand” Connecticut is now allowed to bar fund raising activities for the Boy Scouts of America because the Scout Oath and Law exclude openly gay and immoral individuals from taking little boys into the woods for overnight campouts. The Supreme Court refused to overturn the lower court in Connecticut which said: “Connecticut has not prevented the BSA from exercising its First Amendment rights. It has instead set up a regulatory scheme to achieve constitutionally valid ends under which, as it happens, the BSA pays a price for doing so.” In other words: The Connecticut court admitted its ruling was meant (as it happens) to exact a penalty against an organization that has the right to reject immorality! The BSA is no longer permitted to solicit contributions from state employees in Connecticut. Gay and Lesbian groups are permitted to do so. In “1913 law could foil plans for gay marriages in Mass.” The State of Massachusetts is having a problem. Clerks can’t issue licenses for out of state gays to marry because a 90 year old law may be a major prohibitive tool. Heck! Gays aren’t following modern day laws or abiding by the relatively new “Defense of Marriage Act” and they’re going to let a 90 year old law made by a bunch of dead guys stop them? Go figure! Then there was: “Looking straight at gay parents”, which was a story about two lesbians starting their family with the sperm from a gay male, partnered with another gay male, who also donated his sperm to the same lesbian to have a second child, both of which were adopted by the other lesbian! WHAT?! WHAT?! WHAT?! There was a big old picture of four happy gay guys and gals with a baby and one on the way; and a full page of attempts to explain how the two children will never be messed up by this arrangement. The last sentence? “But we are all very close, very much involved, one big happy family.” ARGH! In “Mass. Legislators revisit gay marriage debate” I found a group of people trying to stem the tide of a flood that was opened by a rogue State Supreme Court. They were (and still are) trying to vote an amendment that probably now has no chance of passage. It will take two and a half years to fully play through the state’s electoral processes. That will be two and a half years of State Supreme Court ordered gay marriage. It is too late. It might be quicker to impeach the 4 justices that caused this mess in the first place. “Town clerks are drawing a blank on gay marriage” was another full page about the poor town clerks in Massachusetts not being given direction concerning gays that want to marry. What about blood tests? What about residency requirements? Can we cross out “bride” and “groom” on a valid state form and have it still be legal? May 17th is when the flood gates become fully opened. Not a peep out of Kerry or Kennedy, whose state started this new form of anarchy. Kerry and Kennedy apparently condone all liberal forms of lawbreaking. The President has made his mind known and has been condemned for butting in. The President cannot stop the state of Mass-sex-you- gets from screwing up the rest of the country. That has already happened. Anyway, “USA Today” has managed to put me into a state of “queer overload”. This will be my last article concerning anything homosexual for as long as possible. I shall not bother to subscribe to “US Gay to Gay” or any other liberal platform for immorality. Simply, all these articles prove gays are wrong. But to read it in the “USA Today” you have to look very hard to find any paragraph stating any opposition view. That makes “USA Today” very wrong too. ------------ About the Author: Independent, Conservative, Christian.
