May 30, 2004 Recently, we have been attacked by an onslaught of images courtesy of the media concerning the movie "The Day After Tomorrow". It has been used as a platform for environmental issues despite the constant articles from leading climatologist saying that this could never happen. Unfortunately (as always) liberals can't and won't let the truth get in the way of an issue, any issue, if it means that they can condemn the conservative populace. Al Gore and Nancy Pelosi are using this film along with others to villify the right on environmental policies and probably the war in Iraq. Since we in this country have a right to freely express our opinions in any shape or form I'd like to plug my new movie idea to you all today. The title for my new film is called "The Day After, The Day After Tomorrow". In this film, we have terrorists attacking America right before the election scheduled in september. Because of the deaths and overwhelming fear created by the attacks, John (I surrender) Kerry is elected president. Right after the election President Kerry announces a temporary suspension of civil liberties and personal rights. Freedom of speech has been canceled and no new elections will take place until the threat is contained. In keeping with his full support with the U.N. foreign troops now occupy bases all across America. Blue helmeted soldiers are now seen on every corner of the major cities in our country. To control the possible spread of terrorist information, the internet has been suspended and communication is now only using state sponsored goverment telephone and cell phone technology. Our troops are pulled from Iraq and Afganistan where anarchy soon reigns as Sadam-like creatures emerge from the depths of whatever slime they came from to introduce a new century of terror in the Middle East. Because of this, gas has been rationed to support servies only and prices have sky- rocketed to fifteen dollars a gallon. Food becomes scarce in the inner cities as riots emerge and U.N. troops are called in to quell the violence. Thousands die as fire rage out of control in every major city in America. North Korea succeeds in introducing a plague into Seattle where it spreads throughout the country, further killing millions. With no new elections, our country in flames and choked with the unburied bodies of the dead John Kerry hands control of our country over to the European goverments where economic aide and medical support is brought over. Our "stars and bars" are now iron bars, across an entire nation. Just writing this gave me more chills than the latest "Chainsaw Murder Film". Of course, it is just my opinion. I, in no way, want this to happen. I, in no way, think this is going to happen. But if the leading liberals can smear the Commander In Chief in the middle of a war on terrorsm on Memorial Day, then I think that I have the right to depict the ugliest side of what inactivity and poor leadership can do to our country by those same people insulting our president. To slaughter a famous phrase, "Man plans, and God laughs, and liberals use that opportunity for their own self serving needs. To my brothers and sisters in uniform plus my best friend (who stayed in when I got out) serving in Iraq, to my father and grandfathers who served in wars far away from our shores I thank you and appreciate all that you do. And I think that most Americans do as well.
