Apr 10, 2004 Did someone in Washington open a giant can of stupid and leave it out so the democrats could gulp the whole can down? They must have, because if there was to be any, and I mean ANY serious discussion on what we could have done to prevent the 9/11 attacks, then Billy Clinton should have been sitting in the hot seat trying to define what the word "coward" is. Shouldn't we have looked at the Clinton administration approach to war (consensus building, or re-inventing hostile negotiation) in order to get a real picture on this attack? Instead we have Condi Rice sitting there, trying to explain what they had received when the Bush administration came into office, while these laughable "non-partisan" (Which also is defined as two-faced liars liars pants on fire) democrats are trying to place Condi Rice on "The Grassy Knoll" and also hold her responsible for the cancellation of "Knots Landing"! What's worse, they actually expect the American population to believe their trash! Which, no doubt, some of you will. But if there was a panel to discuss the emergence of alien abductions and to blame it on Bush then those same people would be screaming at the top of their lungs to get rid of him for that reason. Unemployment is down. Well not enough, screams the dems and the media. We have NOT had another attack along the lines of 9/11 since Bush started taking charge of the mess that was handed to him. Well, not enough, screams the dems and media. Speaking of our darling non-partisan (remember that definition) media, has anyone noticed that even though we have suffered a dozen casualties during the recent fighting, and when I say a dozen, I mean that is ALL the media talks about, there has been over four hundred and fifty casualties of the enemy! And while you won't be hearing that on "Sixty Minutes", it is only because they are trying to give more air time to Dicky Clarks piece of fiction every chance they can get. Can I get a show of hands out there who actually want John Kerry as president? Despite the democratic attempts and the bias of the media along with the vocal minority of Bush bashers, do we actually want to go back to a repeat of the Clinton, (or -gasp-) the Carter administration? I wish someone, anyone, could convince me that there is a positive side to higher taxes, higher unemployment numbers, higher inflation, higher interest rates, a weaker military, and our reliance on the say-so of a bunch of socialists in the U.N.. I was born in 1963. I had absolutely nothing to do with the rise to power of Hitler in Germany in the thirties. But using democratic logic as shown on the 9/11 circus, I should have known about it and done something, anyway. With the Clinton administration the buck stopped where ever he had placed it on whatever nightstand, in whatever seedy hotel. Accountability is one of the shining definitions of leadership. And when it comes right down to it, this farce truely illustrates how poor the leadership was under Clinton. Finally I do hope that none of the Bush bashers read this. They might get enough smarts together to actually try not to shoot themselves in the foot with all this biased nonsense.
