Dec 2, 2003 I could not believe the news when I heard it. I am so excited I can hardly sit still! Liberals are going to try and start up their own radio network. This is a 'supposed' reaction to Rush Limbaugh. (Tho' I thought Rush was a reaction to liberal media...) I guess the networks, the newspapers, the celebrities, and NPR weren't enough for them. I left my liberal-to-english dictionary at home, but I think that their term for 'fair and balanced' is having TWO liberals debate an issue. Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory! They had the White House. They had the Senate. They had the House. (They even had California) But I don't think that even Dr. Seuss could put a positive spin on these losers. "I won't be honest in a court, I won't be honest in a war, I won't be honest in a church, I won't be honest to my wife, I won't be honest to my ... to my ... (what rhymes with constituents?) They still have not figured out that THEY are the reason that they are losing so much. The Russians figured out that communism didn't work but try telling that to the mind-numbed drooling morons at Berkley and other such havens for institutionalized stupidity. Lower taxes means more money into the economy. But I've seen vampires react better towards the cross than liberals do when they see good economic news as a result of lower taxes. When we say we want less goverment intrusion into our lives I guess they thought we said 'oxygen' due to the way they reacted. The outright hipocrasy of these people is what strikes me the funniest though. These limosine liberals would proudly say that teenage girls have the right to kill the babys' in their bodies because they aren't 'people' yet. But these same people would want to see you in jail for life if you destroyed an egg of a spotted owl. They want all handguns taken away, except for those handguns held by their bodyguards. More taxes? Bring it on! Easy to say if you have several million in the bank. We can't talk about God in our schools, in our workplaces, but if you say one bad thing about Allah, then watch out for those lawsuits! And it is these same people that have several pounds of silicon in their bodies, more suture lines than Frankensteins Monster, but if we (the little people) decided to smoke then we are evil for wanting to put something so bad in the body that some non-denominational pseudo-creator-she- being-of-possible-alien-origins gave us. And now they want to play on the radio. What kind of exit stratigy do you think that they've already come up with? I mean, what kind of sponsers (other than Ben n' Jerry) are they going to have to keep this business afloat? You can't have the goverment pay, or have donations or fund raisers. Only because there is already a liberal radio station out there that does all of that. NPR. They'll probably fall back on some right-wing conspiracy theory. Or aliens, distorting the airwaves. Can you imagine bands of evil right wing conservatives, roaming the streets and highways of America, tearing down radio station towers and replacing them with evil tributes to whale killers and the founding fathers. (Speaking of whales, has anyone EVER thought of the plight of the poor plankton? Talk about the plankton enough and it'll be like telling a liberal to go into a round room and protest in the corner...) It'll be fun to listen. And I'm sure they'll try to put a positive spin on everything from socialized medicine to a generalized welfare state. But to the rest of us who can actually think and walk at the same time, it'll seem like they are putting smiley faces and bows on bags of manure.
