Bush's Strong Point: Making Enemies FAST
Aug 8, 2003

I received this from a friend of mine, and it clearly points out how Bush has turned friends into enemies, which I would say is NOT a good thing. But yet again, when has Bush done anything right anyways?

"I've noticed in this website and elsewhere that many people are of the opinion that the United States doesn't need other countries. This is simply not true. If we didn't have other countries, we wouldn't be able to trade goods and make money. The United States is dependent upon other countries for certain goods.

"With this in mind, you can see why the president ought to shape up. Here are examples of how he has made countries extremely angry with the United States and has put the United States in a huge hole with the world in general.

"Saudi Arabia: After Saudi Arabian authorities listened to the president and cracked down on terrorists, they were able to catch a few people. They detained 50 people. You would think the president would be happy. The president simply said that Saudi Arabia was an evil country that supported the hijackers. Isn't that nice. Our leading oil supplier angry because it is being unfairly accused.

"Syria: I don't know why the president hates the Middle East. Just after he launched an attack in Iraq that should not have happened in the first place, the president goes on to accuse Syria of helping Iraqis. Isn't enough enough? Can the United States stop accusing endless countries of doing wrongdoing? It is not even true all the time. Even so, the United States won the war. There is no reason to mess with Syria.

"African countries: One of the key points made by President Bush to go to war in Iraq was that Iraq was getting uranium from Africa. However, just recently, the point has been conceded that this was false. More false accusations by the president against countries who did nothing wrong.

"France: This should be obvious. France did not want to go to war. The United States did. As a result France is bad. This kind of logic is simply not good. As a result, tension between the United States and France occurred. Just because France did not want to go to war in Iraq (for good reason, no weapons have been found yet), there is no reason to hate them. Unfortunately, our president does not follow the same logic.

"The U.N.: This also should be obvious. President Bush had a temper tantrum when the U.N. disagreed with his decision to go to war in Iraq and said "I don't give a care about what you think. I'm going to war? And he did. This is not world unity. It shows the United States doesn't care about any other countries' input because they are wrong or inferior. This has put a rift between the United States in the world.

"Great Britain: My favorite part of this. Great Britain is an ally for the United States. However, Tony Blair ran into trouble to stick up for the president. He had to walk out on his own party in a Parliament meeting and is now facing a war crimes indictment at the Hague for the War in Iraq. Good job President Bush. You have just gotten your only true ally (don't know why) into trouble.

"North Korea: North Korea is a menace, I agree. However, the United States is lucky that North Korea didn't nuke them already. Earlier, the president refused to talk to North Korea. This is a huge mistake. Why would you attempt to irritate a man who has enormous weapons, a bad temper, and could nuke Japan, China, or South Korea with the press of a button? I don't know. Maybe it's fun.

"I hope the President makes better decisions concerning the world or the United States will have no allies. This ignorance must end now."

This is true. It is sad that Bush comes up here, decides to go to war in just about every country in the Middle East, and gets EVERYONE to hate him, and the United States in general, in the process. He's done a good job of that, that's for sure. If just he could do a good job on the things which would IMPROVE our life and the lives of others. But he hasn't done that yet, why do I still keep my hopes up.
