An Address From President Bush About A New Evil Regime

My Fellow Americans,

Good evening. I come before you tonight to inform you, as a nation, about a burgeoning threat that looms on our horizon. There is a clear and present danger that we can no longer ignore, nor deny.

Over the recent years, it has become clear that Darth Vader poses the greatest threat to the peace and prosperity of the civilized galaxy.

There have been several uprisings against the brutal Vader regime by Rebel forces over the past few years. The insurgencies were met with vicious retaliation. The brave Rebel forces were not only crushingly defeated, but, subsequently, they, their friends, and families, were systematically slaughtered by this despotic madman.

Vader has been hunting down, and exterminating, the Jedi Knights, an elite group of fighters, trained to serve and protect all peace-loving people in the universe. Only a few of these skilled, brave fighters remain. Darth Vader seeks to eliminate every Jedi Knight from the universe. If he is not stopped swiftly and decidedly, he will do so.

A recent United Galaxies report states that Darth Vader has ignored previous U.G. sanctions against building a new Death Star. The brave Rebel Forces blew up the first Death Star; after which, sanctions were levied against Darth Vader not to build another one.

Darth Vader has ignored these sanctions.

U.G. weapon inspectors say construction of a new Death Star is underway. Darth Vader has brazenly defied the resolutions designed to contain him and his evil regime. This is why I have ordered an attack on Darth Vader, and his Imperial regime. No longer will Vader, his Imperial Party, and their financier and cleric, the Emperor, be allowed to rule with the iron fist of totalitarianism, fascism and tyranny. Not longer will they be allowed to pervert the "The Force" for their evil gains. Their "Dark Side of the Force" is not representative of most of the followers of this peaceful religion. It is time they get their religion, safety, peace of mind and livelihoods back into their hands.

A group of fighters - led by Han Solo, Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker and Lando Calrissian - is leading an invasion to destroy the new Death Star, before it can be completed, and decimate all peace- loving planets in the galaxy. We will not stop until Vader, the Emperor, and all their followers are destroyed. There is no planet they can run to. There is no galaxy they can hide in. We will find them. And they will be defeated.

The Darth Vader regime will soon be over. Peace and order will be brought back to the universe. The evil Empire will fall.
