I will soon be expecting an apology from the Democrats...but who am I kidding? What do liberals have to apologize for? Now that the spawn of Saddam and Satan, Odai and Qusai, have been, unfortunately, killed fairly painlessly, and UN weapons inspector David Kay has stated they have hit "the motherlode" of documents concerning Saddam Insane's weapons program, the Democrats, in their time-honored schizophrenia - Demophrenia - are going to suddenly become (pseudo) patriotic.

"We voted to go to war with Iraq, as the congressional record will show. This is a great day for France. I mean, America."

Democrats have the short term memory of that guy in MEMENTO. Unfortunately, they don't have Carrie- Anne Moss. Much like THE MATRIX movies, she would at least give you something to look at while listening to Byzantine gibberish.

"We unanimously supported Bill Clinton's bombing of Iraq..? Without going to the Holiest of Holies, the UN..? That's right. We did. But our Liberal Messiah, the felon rapist, had justification for bombing Iraq. He was about to be impeached."

As we all know, deflecting a scandal involving kinky sex in the White House is the universal reason for going to war. Killing a murderous madman developing weapons to harm us and hold the Middle East hostage is a distant second. In last place, of course, is to stop Communism.

But Demophrenia will soon set in. And the liberals will never be held to their seditious words. When we find the stockplies of weapons, the in's and out's of Hussein's weapons programs, and his corpse. When, in a year from now, Iraq is the second democracy in the Middle East, besides Israel. When the standard of living of the Iraqi people has improved a hundred fold. When the courts try Saddam loyalists as war criminals in front of all Iraq. When the hospitals are actually used as hospitals again, and not missile storage. When the schools teach other subjects besides the biography and propaganda of Hussein. When the Iraqi people never have to worry if they, or a loved one, will be the next to be tortured, executed, and thrown into a mass grave. When the flourishing democracy in Iraq finally provides the young, pro-America population of Iran the strength to finally topple the fundamentalist, terror-supporting Mullahs, the liberals will never admit, once again, how stunningly wrong they were. They will spin, weaving convoluted tales of how they were just the conscientious objector. They will decry that true patriotism is to "question."

True patriotism is the men and women who are giving their lives to make the world safer and more free. Weekend cocktail parties in Manhattan and Berkely, that praise Karl Marx and stress the importance of negotiating with terrorists, is a distant second.
