Apr 5, 2004 AND OTHER THINGS. We can no longer tell the difference. I am referring more than anything to the Sunday morning news talk shows. Tim Russert interviewing Karen Hughes, got one of those looks on his face like he was trying to pass a gallstone, he ask “ What would you say was President Bush’s biggest failure”? Would He have asked John Kerroux [that’s French for Kerry] the same or a similar question? I think not. I watch Fox Sunday. It’s less objectionable than the other shows. I thought it was better with Tony Snow than this new guy Wallace. I gave up on George Steppedinwhatsitcalled. He was way to far left for me. I see there are still some of the old liberal accusations out there. Bush wanted Iraq’s oil. The Bush’s haven’t had anything to do with the production of oil in years. Bush was getting even for Saddam trying to kill his daddy. That one is just so juvenile. Bush was a draft dodger; no Homer draft dodgers go to England to sit out the wars, Bush was a Jet fighter pilot. Bush was confused; He didn’t know al Qaida and Saddam weren’t connected. Says who? We haven’t found any WMD’s. WMD’s were only one of the reasons for going to war as the President has stated many times. That never gets reported by the Media. I ask again for someone to describe a WMD for me. What size, color, how will it be delivered, what are the components? These are all unanswered questions. You tell us if you can how we will know when we find one? ***** I’m waiting! I live in the Detroit area, one of the most diverse cities in the country. We have every ethnic and minority group as neighbors. Dearborn Mi. has the largest population of Iraqi’s anywhere out side of Baghdad. If you want a reason to go to war with Saddam talk to some of these people. Even today they are reluctant to speak. Those that will all agree President Bush did the right thing. You need to see a human body rotting covered with fly’s lying on the side of the road to appreciate the butchery of the Saddam Regime or any dictatorial regime. Next time you see a road-kill close your eyes and picture it as an Iraqi or Haitian child or even your child. Maybe then you’ll understand why we must stop those who would commit such crimes at any cost. Most Liberals deny these things exist, this I don’t understand. It’s time for all America to stop blaming the President and start taking some personal responsibility for the so called ills of the country. More Americans buying products made outside the country than inside course outsourcing. There is always a price to pay for cheaper goods. I get really ticked when I hear a Congressman blaming the President for things only the Congress has control over. Congress allocates all government expenditures. Presidents have no power over the purse. Presidents suggests, Congress has the final say. Has President Bush done all he could for the betterment of America, I doubt it. Could John Kerroux do better? No way. The John Kerroux and others years in congress have created most of what George Bush is facing now. John Kerroux would turn America’s sovereignty over to the World Court, The UN and The Euros. The UN administered the Iraqi oil for food program for ten years. It was a windfall for everyone but the Iraqi people. Now John Kerroux wants to hand the administration of the Iraqi economy back to the UN. The World Court has had years to convict various war criminals and what are they doing. Trying to get new trials for some illegal murders we have already passed sentence on. The Euros tell us how to conduct ourselves when dealing with world events yet they haven’t been successful in two hundred years dealing with world events. Come on Liberals, I challenge you to name me one event in the past two hundred years where the Euros were successful? Where they won a war or kept a peace or made a difference without America guarding their six. What have the Euros done to supply the world with modern technology? Copied, copied, copied. If America wants to be ruled by the Euros again at least wait 27 more years. I’ll be 100 then and probably wont give a damn.
