Feb 15, 2004 John Kerry encouraged young men to avoid the draft during the Viet Nam War. So why is he now questing President Bush regarding his service, after all that’s what Kerry wanted wasn’t it more draft dodgers? Slick Willy didn’t have the courage to join the National Guard or even ROTC, he didn’t even have the courage to go to Canada he went to England. Kerry defended Clintons draft dodging as some kind of heroic deed. You can only have it both ways if you’re a Liberal Democrat I guess. I have a gut feeling the God’s of deliverance are about to descend on John Kerry with a vengeance. John Kerry studied at the Al Gore school of genuineness and modesty. He has more illogical positions than my grandchildren when confronted with the fact they raided the cookie jar. Truth is a foreign language to Kerry, I know he speaks Bostonian and French. I know he doesn’t understand American very well. Need I say more? I should tone it down, I’m beginning to sound like one of those hateful Democrat, that I don’t want. I really don’t understand the Democrats hatred of President Bush. Considering the events of the past three-plus years I would say President Bush has preformed rather well. I hate to think had Al Gore been President what would have happened. That’s not really true his mentor Slick Willy had his 9/11’s several times and did nothing about them. The only time Slick Willy acted was when he was due in court the next day. I’m sure Al Gore would have acted in much the same way. Afghanistan and Iraq wouldn’t have changed, the UN and their cohorts would have still been sucking billions of dollars from Saddam. Iraqi graves would be increasing daily. The UN would pass more resolutions, France and Germany would have sold more et cetera, et cetera to Saddam. The world would look the other way. I think I know why we went to war. A portion of the Muslim World is hell bent on destroying any form of modern civilization, Christian or otherwise. Another portion of the Muslim World is hell bent of maintaining the statuesque. The Royal families who rule many of the Arab Countries are petrified of democracy, lest they lose their power to the people. One truly democratic country in the Middle East will change their culture from subservient to the empowered. Europe even though they no longer have Kings who rule with an iron hand they do have Leaders who rule by iron agenda, Parliamentary Government is complicated, it is far from democratic. Back to our going to war. Setting up a Democratic Government in the Middle East wasn’t the first motivation for going to war. Reason number one was to tell the Terrorist World enough is enough. If you want to act like Barbarians you’ll be treated like Barbarians. America will tolerate no more nonsense from terrorists or any who would harm us. The original “ Don’t tread on Me” applies today as much as it did in 1775. Now we have a President who knows how to make it mean something, who is willing to show the world what it means. Has the fact America hasn’t been attached since 9/11’s been missed by any one? This isn’t to say we can’t be but I find it very interesting the Terrorists have concentrated on some of their fellow Muslim countries such as Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Philippians, and Indonesia to mention a few others. Cowards and Predators concentrate on the weak not the powerful. We may be the most hated country on earth but I’ll bet we got more Valentine Greetings from foreign leaders than any other country. America is like the proverbial 800 pound Gorilla, be nice to him, don’t piss him off and he’ll be your friend for life. Get in his face and your going to get hurt. This is a long way from Kerry can’t cut it but it’s some of the reasons Kerry can’t cut it. Kerry just doesn’t get what it is to be a good old boy, redneck, middle class, middle of the road American.
