Supreme (Is Over Doing It) Court
Dec 28, 2003

The Supreme Court has no authority to rule on the separation of Church and State. Why because it doesn’t exist. No where in the Constitution does The separation of Church and State exist, it isn’t there not even close. The first amendment says “ Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion, ( it also says ) or prohibiting the free exorcize thereof”. So Mr. And Ms. Justices please tell me where this “Separation of Church and State comes in”? Article three, sections two and three of thee Constitution grants cretin powers to the Courts and restrict cretin powers from the Courts. The power to change or re-interpret the Constitution is not and never has been one of those powers granted.

I know some of you are going to ask, who does he think he is telling the Supreme Court how to rule. I am one of the millions who those rulings effects, so I have the right to question them. To digress, This is one more proof there truly is a God. How else could so many brilliant men as our founding fathers come together in one place at one time? Never in the history of Governments has a document as the Constitution been written that lasted so long effecting so many people. Never again will such a document be written in such simplistic language. Brilliant men make history, lesser men interpret and write about it.

My interpretation of the first part of the first amendment is Religion can’t own the Government, they can’t tell us what religion if any we must practice. The second part tells me we can be religious or not any where any time we want and the Government can’t interfere. I ask you, did it take nine Men and Women in black dresses and thousands of Lawyers to come to such a simple conclusion? Why then does it take so many and such effort at such great expense to re-define and discredit those words?

I must admit I’m not a “Constitutional Scholar” I’m just a poor Hill-billy who happens to know how to read and can separate truth from fiction. Sort of like those founding fathers who weren’t Constitutional Scholars either. I don’t think it’s necessary to have attended Harvard in order to understand a few simple words. Can you imagine the Original Constitution surviving the scrutiny of today’s Supreme Court. The ink wasn’t dry on the original Constitution when they started adding amendments. Fortunately changing the Constitution is a lengthily process requiring a litany of steps that must be taken before the change is official. More proof of the brilliance of the founding fathers.

How do we change the outrageous behavior of our courts? We demand term limits on Congress who in turn will enforce the old laws written in the Constitution requiring all branches of Government to obey the law exempting none. Did I say demand, I meant seriously demand, No I mean very seriously demand Term Limits. Until such time as the Congress and the Courts are back in the control of the people we will have turmoil and instability our political system.

I sound like a nut, don’t I ? Maybe I am but I remember when politicians where allowed a few warts they didn’t have to explain or be ashamed of Then they spent more time governing and less time defending themselves. We are less than perfect people so why do we expect perfection from our public officials? I remember when we could trust those we gave the keys to the country to. Call me crazy but I think its possible to go back to those days. All we need is few good man we can trust with the keys.

These are my opinions , you from yours.
