I’ll Punch Em’Out
Nov 24, 2003

If one more liberal tells me the government should provide something for a child. I’m going to punch them out. That’s what parents are for, to provide for their children. If the government wasn’t stealing all our money we could afford to provide for our children, our grandchildren and ourselves. Then take the family to a movie and be able to afford a bag of popcorn.

You already know this but humor me. Let me point out some of the myths the liberals Are trying to sell us.

THE DEFICTE. Article one section eight of the Constitution gives Congress the power to lay and collect taxes. Unfortunately it also gives them power to borrow money. How do they barrow money? The Congress has no power to borrow commercially therefore they issue Treasury Bonds. This is like having a Master Card with no monthly payments. I think they had a checking account once but the over-drafts got them in trouble. Giving Congress the power of the purse is like locking a drunk in a room full of alcohol. Ok back to the money, the government requires retirement programs have a percentage of secured investments, Like T-Bills. The Treasury Department will sell T-bill to any one. Banks Insurance companies, foreign investors, any one, anywhere, any time no questions ask. That’s about as close to extortion as you can get and not go to jail. This is a quick condensed version of the deficit.

EMTITELMENTS, Again Article one section eight of the Constitution requires Congress to provide for the general welfare. Congress has interpreted that to mean if Johnny has no home the public should provide him one with tax money. The Constitution says we are all equal. Shouldn’t we all get houses? My neighbor Clyde lost his job, I go around the neighborhood asking everyone to each kick-in ten bucks a week for twenty-six weeks to help Clyde out. The answer is “No way”. The government informs the neighborhood Clyde may lose his job some time in the future. They will be taking ten bucks a week out of our pay each week for Clyde to have when and if he loses his job. Try telling the government “No way.” Government grows by creating thing. They call these things by catchy titles like entitlements. The word entitlement isn’t mentioned once in the Constitution. No Welfare, Education, Public Housing, Food Stamps, Utility Assistance, Farm-aid, Foreign-aid, Affirmative action, Medicare, Medicaid, Day-care. None of these things are Constitutional mandated. Little girls not playing football isn’t unconstitutional, Heterosexual Boy Scouts are not unconstitutional, Who says Me that’s who!
