Aug 17, 2003 "WE'RE JUST HERE BECAUSE THERE'S A COURT ORDER." With these words the officer got on with removing a portion of the Torah from public view. Some did protest, but in the end the State had its way. The Court Order removing the Torah Portion was handed down by a Federal Judge named Herr Hogan. The Court itself, however, was not located in Nuremberg, nor was the year 1935. The officer in charge of carrying-out the order did not wear an 'SS' on his chest; just an 'S' for Sheriff. The year is 2003, and the place is Adams County, Ohio. As the State Authorities removed their Federal tool from their pants and pissed on the will of the people of Adams County, one bold protester announced, "The people of Adams County have spoken!" Precious. In West Chester, PA. more than 100 people protested after Herr Dalzell ordered a Torah Portion to be covered with a plastic sheet. An elderly woman came by and placed flowers in front of the Orwellian sheet, as troopers stopped chatting amongst themselves and gave her a glance. They did not beat her. At the Alabama State House in Montgomery a large group of citizens gathered to hear speakers explain that the State should not be allowed to reign supreme; this is why the Founders broke the State into three pieces. The people at the Alabama protest were also trying to keep the Torah Portion in public view. I tried for most of the day to get information on this protest, but it was VERY difficult to come by. Most of the protesters were not Jewish; they were, in fact, White Christians - - Yuck. No need for News coverage on this bunch, they really don't exist. These White Christians (some even Males) haven't flown any planes into buildings, but they did travel across State Lines while proclaiming the Bible as the Word of God. Now THAT is an attack on the authority of the State. The Bible, in part written by a Gentile named Luke, makes some incredible statements concerning God, Humans and Authority. Having simple Americans accept this Book as the Word of God even causes the great populist, Bill O'Reilly, to shout, "Fanatic!" Wow. What a Book that Bible. What a Gentile that Luke. Nevertheless, some of the first Christians were Jews; they numbered about 3000 at the Birth of the Church in Jerusalem. I wonder if Mel Gibson is allowed to mention that 2000 years ago there were Jews in Jerusalem? I know that many American Jews want Gibson to modify his movie so that some Jews are shown to support Jesus. Seeing as this is a truth, I have no problem with such a modification. After all, it is only a movie about a dead Man, He really doesn't exist. I do think it strange to hear Rabbis standing in public proclaiming, "Some of us supported Jesus!" Hey guys, the movie isn't out yet, so why is everyone saying things they might later regret? I'm not going to see the movie myself, because the Book is much better. I would encourage people to read the Gospel Story while we can still own unedited editions. I'm sure Herren Hogan and Dalzell will be going over the 'hate-filled' text in short- order. What is, of course, wanted by many in America today is a positive Christianity. The Episcopal Church, the ADL, the ACLU, the SWC and O'Reilly, to name a few, all want a Christianity that won't cause any problems for the serious job of running the Country. Love and niceness, caring and smiles are what Jesus came to bring us --- right? Remember the old Hymn, 'Make Us Nice Lord.'? As groups of Christians gather in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Alabama in order to fight back the Secular Storm Troopers, the 'reasonable' people, who know that the Bible is quaint mythology, try to figure out what really happened in Jerusalem 2000 years ago. Some have landed on 'God wants us to pay taxes', others proclaim 'Jesus was a Jew'. Imagine that! What a bunch of Bible scholars. The Christians who are fighting to keep a portion of Torah in public view, are seen as unreasonable when they warn America that without respect for the Word of God, which can be seen, we will have no respect for God, Who cannot be seen. They are not positive Christians when they warn that nations have rejected the Law of God only to reap destruction. Positive Christianity is thrown to the wind when they proclaim that God will punish those who trample His Word. From Moses to Jesus to Paul to 2003, the argument is still the same; the Authority of God over the affairs of Men. Many want to throw-off this authority, while some cling to it. The 'reasonable' stand bravely by until they see calamity at the door, and then they ask, "Why has the World gone nuts?" Some are befuddled enough to believe that a 'positive Christianity' will keep the World sane. This is shear and unmitigated foolishness. Oh yes, what of Nazi Party Rule #24?? This is the article in the Nazi Platform that stated, "The Party stands for positive Christianity." I'm sure. Never again? -- I'm not so sure.
