The Party of Disrespect
Mar 19, 2004

Never has an enemy done more harm, than the enemy that is us. The rhetoric, the political maiming is more than deplorable now than ever before. The fact the enemy within these shores courts its own destruction leaves me numb. To the victor will go one of two legacies, either he will kill the party of his brother or he will commit suicide! This opponent is vile and yet, this surprises no one. Yet only now because of hatred so deep, so abjectly destructive that which is a misguided thirst for power threatens our country shore-to-shore, and a deep chasm, into our core. Is now the time for a crazed warrior to once again challenge the essence of the American way? Where are the truth police? The rage for all the lying and hatemongering, don’t we have hate police? What have we done to deserve this, how did we not know we were fueling such evil hearts? Filled with enough hate to pit families against families, brothers against brother and we have lost the way. The first victims of this madness have yet to fall, but as the season for destruction draws near, it’s only a matter of time. To silence the moral is deafening. The opposition is whipping itself into a frenzied anger a site so foreign it is not of this world. The promise of a total devastation looms heavy in our hearts. Sadness comes over us as the battle of battles struggles to restrain itself.

As I write this I am reminded of another foe, a madman no less, but a madman with a message. “I say to them that they have put themselves at the mercy of a disloyal government, and this is most evident in Clinton's administration...” On another occasion, he spoke again to the American voter. “The Western regimes and the government of the United States of America bear the blame for what might happen. If their people do not wish to be harmed inside their own countries, they should seek to elect governments that are representative of them and that can protect their interests.” The madman speaks with compassion and his words do not seem to be a threat, but rather a distain for the Government of an immoral elitist, but to its people he shows compassion and good advise. Yet, his warning should be weighed with caution. Electing an administration representative of the people who will protect our interest, not a novel idea, but one. Consider the track record of our madman, he is responsible for Somalia, Bosnia, The barracks of Dhahran, the Khobar Towers, The U.S. Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, the bombing of the World Trade Center and then the U.S.S. Cole. His name is Osama Bin Laden and for some reason, Bill Clinton let him have a pass. Why?

There is some proof that Osama Bin Laden received training through intermediarries of the CIA during the Afghanistan war against the Soviet Union. A much-heralded hero for his tactical bravado was once again united with his silent mentor during the Gulf War. Representing his homeland, Saudi Arabia supporting the war against Iraq put Bin Laden in a strange situation. Bin Laden reunited with old memories, soon realized he had been used as a pawn of the West not only in the war against the Soviet Union, but now, Iraq, an Arab nation. Incensed, at the prospect of killing other Muslims as a pawn of the West, he promised to rid the world of its world demonetizing terrorist nation, America. Over the last 6 years of the Clinton administration Bin Laden was instrumental in the support and training the Taliban, Mujadeen and Al Qaeda. Following each of Ben Laden supported attacks on American interest, President Clinton talked of swift retribution. But, he delivered none, with the one exception 1 of a multi-site bombing that took place the night before impeachment hearing for Mr. Clinton lying under oath. That attack netted destructing an aspirin factory and a tent where Bin Laden they believe was to be sleeping. Unfortunately, Bin Laden had left the area just before the attack. When the missile struck the tent, it passed through and exploded when it found the rear end of a terrorist camel. The attack didn’t deter the impeachment hearings, and it turned out to be tough luck for Mr. Clinton as well as the terrorist camel.

Now, the left believes, Osama Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein and their subordinates should not be tracked down and destroyed. They should be turned overThe fact that Mr. Clinton rejected an offer by the Saudi’s to extradite Bin Laden to the U.S. is ancient history. The reason for that decision is still unclear. The excuse of not having enough evidence against him just doesn’t fly. We should have taken him, placed him under house arrest and found the evidence to deal with him once and for all.

Mr. Clinton did nothing to put a stop to Osama Bin Laden but the act of failing to respond to these threats will forever be a part of his legacy. The problem was forwarded to President Bush and his legacy sealed on 9.11. For his actions follow that fateful day of September, President Bush will someday be honored as an American hero, a defender of world peace and the great American protector.

Instead, President Bush has been attacked repeatedly from special interest groups, the Democrats field of nine that left a vile little man, a Senator, John Kerry. Kerry is a threat to all Americans; he confirmed that by calling for a regime change for the United States, but not one in Iraq. Then I ask, is Hussein a better leader than the Oval Office resident President Bush? What, if John Kerry had claimed the title, of commander and chief, Mr. Hussein would have been alive and tightening the reins of his dictators rules all over the over his people. We would not be searching for Mr. Bin Laden, not under a President. Kerry who said he thought the war was a mistake.

The problem with Kerry is he is piquing the hate of his faithful. In his hate speeches and during his total disregard for a good man and a great President he lies. The democrats claim republicans have an attack machine, the one used against Max Cleland. What may I asked did the Republicans do to ol’ Max? I heard Mr. Kerry say that the republicans didn’t show him the level of respect do a war hero. Could he be a war criminal? Mr. Cleland had lost three limbs in a Vietnam. Max Cleland has received no Purple Heart’s or Silver Star our any other medal for losing his limbs. The reason is elementary; he was personally responsible for the loss of his own limbs. As the helicopter started to lift off, Cleland decided to stick around and hang out with some buddies in the safe zone. At the last second, he yelled to the helicopter pilot to go without him. He decided to stay over, grab a few beers and talk to his buddies. Jumping to the ground as the copter lifted off, Max caught a glimpse of a hand grenade lying on the ground. Assuming it fell out of his belt during the jump, he bent down to pick it up and it went off. It was American issue and could have been his. What it could not have been was safe. He had no authority to stay there, drink a few beers, and he should have returned with the helicopter. If he had followed procedure, he would never pick up the grenade, he would have secured the area and then carefully destroyed it from a safe distance. Nothing he did that day suggest we honor him as a war hero, he was foolish in his decision to stay as well as pick up the ordinance. It was his own fault and had the military seen fit, they could have charged him for dereliction of duty and malingering. He broke the code of military justice for multiple infractions during that one- life changing minute of pure hell. It is sad that anyone would lose a limb, much less three. Max Cleland was no hero, at least not on that day. Other than that, he was in the war as he was in the senate, he was, mediocre at best. How then could the republicans disrespect a war hero when he was not one? Saying he was now, during the commission of a hate crime does not make it so. It only makes them liars, and that’s what they call President Bush. I think the democrats protesteth too much. Mr. Kerry has an ego problem; it seems to have eaten his brain. These lies, the cheating and hate war he is waging we hope will backfire. In America, it is normal for the truth to come out and for us to let calm prevail. They’re the fair-minded people who you just have to respect. Mr. Bush is calm, determined and has our best interest at heart. So disrespecting him is wrong-minded. The fact the President is a good, principled and passionate man makes these attacks all that more dangerous for the attacker. The American people are a fair- minded peoples. Soon they will rally behind the only candidate to remain clam, show his kindness and by being, the best candidate for the job. That is, President George W. Bush working for America. America will be a better place, God bless America.

THE END
