Aug 29, 2003 For the first time since listening to Rush Limbaugh (for many many years now) I very deeply disagree with him on a very fundamental issue. Action from belief and Faith. Rush cited his comments on the Judge Roy Moore issue (Ten Commandment monument Removal). His statement said –and I am paraphrasing—that we should see that since the history of the supreme court deciding what is constitutional and what is not, it has been an on going trend. Subtle at the start, to slip in and rewrite the fundamental meaning of the forefathers intention of the constitution. In other words this is no surprise that a supreme court justice would see this removal as justified by their interpretation of the constitution. They’ve been doing this shift to the left for decades now. On this I agree. But then Rush moves on to say that Judge Roy Moore should accept the decision to have it removed and we the people move on and wait for a time to somehow amend, ratify, or adjust the constitution when our time comes. He even went on to quote ESPN’s Gregg Easterbrook from a column he wrote: "As a church-going Christian, I find it deeply embarrassing when Christianity is associated in the public eye with hucksters like Moore. I find it embarrassing, too, when Christians supporting Moore's hunk of stone suggest that a big object in a public square is what matters, rather than the power of God's message itself. Anyone who needs to look at a big object in order to believe doesn't really believe. " On this I so disagree. Yes Rush you right about for years we have been watching the constitutions get ripped and chewed in both subtle and obvious ways by the left and I believe by socialist and communist minded people. In short the Constitution and Sacred Institutions are under ATTACK. We are now in a battle that has turned the heat up by the removal of a very important symbol of a declaration and foundation of the very laws that Governed this Great nation to its world power!! And I took serious offense and disagreement to Rush’s quote of this weak minded writer Easterbrook. We Christians know BETTER THAN ANYBODY its not the physical stone that makes us Christians !!! We know its Spirit that drives and motivates! We also know about the baptism to faith! Don’t be a fool Rush and Gregg !! IT’S THE PRINCIPAL !! This monument was a symbol Hurting NO ONE!! Ant it was ripped from a building with a vengeance. I ask why?? What was so BAD about this that It needed to be removed? Who was it OFFENDING? This Poverty Branch or whatever they call themselves hired a lawyer and filed a lawsuit and some weak backboned judge(Myron)said “yea” this is just the excuse I needed to push my agenda and ordered the removal. What the hell business is it of theirs anyway? And hey aren’t they state funded? I say NO RUSH YOUR WRONG ON THIS ONE!! WE STAND FIRM AND ATTACK BACK. DON’T YOU DARE TELL ME ITS ABOUT SOME PIECE OF ROCK!! This about FREEDOM !! The very freedom that is under a constant attack by socialists and Marxist who believe the U.S. should be taken down. And what better way than to attack its very core—the belief system. It’s has been said by many a military man, that by breaking the spirit of a people you have conquered them and now you can own them. You know damn well it aint stopping here !!! With the pornography in the school libraries and the left crying “oh no don’t touch that you cant stop the access that would be censorship” ! Schools showing kids how to put condoms on Cucumbers, illegal aliens swarming into the country, people being blown up, flying planes into buildings and THEY GET A CLOTH TO COVER UP THE TEN COMMANDMENTS THEN PUT A WALL UP!! WHY SO THE KIDS WONT SE THE SHAME!!! What the Freek is that about ?? OOOOOOH don’t look you might be able to read right from wrong!!! HEY here is one for ya!!! How’s about covering that offensive new monument to the HOMOS in Sacramento! THAT WAS PUT UP WITHOUT PERMISSION !!! IN A STATE PARK YET!! And while this idiots ponder that (which is why they are idiots, because they are incapable of self analysis) but if they could I would put to one of them this, since the Ten Commandments offend somehow I would ask judge Myron just which commandment is it that bothers you most?? Or do they offend you. And if I wonder was it the rock that offended or just the words written on it? Cause if it was the rock should it have been a different type? I say we stand against this and speak out BODLY AND CONDEM ALL ACTIONS AGAINST THIS UGLY ATROCITIY.
