In the news today I found the story of West Covina – Fires destroyed dozens of SUVs and a warehouse at an auto dealership Friday, and vehicles there and at three other dealerships were spray-painted with slogans such as "Fat, Lazy Americans." As oppose to what skinny starving Iraqians, or maybe the hungry and jobless in the Soviet Union, or I will go one better how about the French and some Europeans who pay $4.00/gal of gas because their govt didn’t see to it that free enterprise and oil drilling just wont pay off for their environment. What, because of our USA pride, hard work, ingenuity with capitalism and free enterprise that offers all of us a chance to have a nice lifestyle, I’m supposed to be ashamed of that? No sir!! Just the opposite. I love the fact we live in Country so blessed. And I am proud and fortunate to be an AMERICAN. And in my opinion if you are not one who wishes to take advantage of the millions of opportunities out their under a govt of freedom then you only get what you put in. But at least it’s out their. I’ve got more news for these idiots. If you can afford a Hummer and SUV, you probably have a job that pays well and guess what, that job could only be obtained by being anything but Lazy. But you see how these IDIOTs think. America is built on success. I mean is it not most peoples’ dream to have a job in which we enjoy (if possible) and make a good sum of money to provide for our family and have some luxuries while in the process. I will NEVER apologize for efforts paid off for a work in return. Lets move on there is more to the story. According to the news the radical group Earth Liberation Front issued an unsigned e-mail calling the incidents "ELF actions," and the FBI was investigating the fire as domestic terrorism, Police Chief Frank Wills said. The underground group has claimed responsibility for a slew of arson attacks against commercial entities that members say damage the environment. It is suspected in a multimillion-dollar arson fire Aug. 1that destroyed a five-story apartment complex under construction in San Diego --a $50 million fire. Among the slogans written on the sides and hoods of vehicles were "I (heart) P ollution" and "American Wastefullness." "ELF" was written on at least one vehicle. SUVs at dealerships in nearby cities of Arcadia, Duarte and Monrovia were also vandalized, though there were no other fires. The blazes destroyed about 20 vehicles, mostly Hummer H2s, Another 20 vehicles were badly damaged. A separate blaze caved in a warehouse roof. But before you judge the ELF, please they have good reason for their cowardly actions, since 1996 they have claimed responsibility for arson attacks against commercial entities that members say threaten or damage the environment. Slogans written "I (heart) P ollution" and "American Wastefullness." "ELF" Hmmmmmm? Threaten or Damage the environment…. Ohhh you mean like a fire would? Let me see.. Wastefullness….Ok I think I know this one-- Like burning down buildings and causing all kinds of damage that no one can use afterwards and that will cost both insurance monies to replace and cost taxpayer dollars to run fire trucks and use water resources.? Pollution?... I know!!--- Like a fire that burns oil, tires, roofing chemicals, gas, paint, fabric, plastic, upholstery, caustic metals, and acids. Yea you guys are real intelligent.
