Funny, I think?
Feb 2, 2003

Alex Rodriguez today says he doesn't think he's living up to his $250 Million dollar contract, I think this is funny.

Does he really think that, or was he mis-quoted? Can anyone live up to 250 million, what goal is set to achieve.

I know someone out there also thinks this is funny.

When he signed the contract he probably was in the top 5 players in the game but is anyone worth 250 million.

C'mon Alex, your not even living up to an average salary in Baseball (1.9 million). This fan would play two games a day for 5 months for that kind of money, let alone the benefits you guys also receive, immunity from the law, laundry money, free travel, and food. This statement by Alex Rodriquez is a classic one ranking up there with O.J. Simpsons glove statement.

Here are some of Alex's number and you can see for yourself. $438,596 for each Homerun, $185,185 per Run Batted In, $833,333 per week, and $3,571,428 per month baseball is in session.

And then we complain when Pilots, Stewardesses, and Mechanics ask for 6% pay hike at contract time.
