Some Observations
Nov 14, 2003

Well Justice Moore of Alabama got the boot. I personally think this is a miscarrage of justice. The charge is that Moore put himself above the law when he ignored a federal court order. I wonder what about the federal judges who put themselves above the law when they ignore the constitution?

Something scary in Minnesota? Unfanny man Al, I have no talent, Franken is considering running for the U.S. senate in 2008 against Republican Norm Coleman. Admittedly this is 5 years away but Franken is the type of egoist who thinks his incoherent rantings make him qualified for public service. We just had a clown in the white house before President George W. Bush, but at least he was funnier than Franken.

A 30 hour talkathon. Both sides trying to energize their supporters. Can't these guys act like adults? I blame the democrats for this. Their refusal to have hearings(when they controlled the senate) or give votes to people who got past the judiciary committe is shortsighted. Don't think the republicans won't play payback the next time a democrat lives in 1600 Pennsylvania ave. Now just in order to get mundane business done one side is going to have to have 60 senators.

Well, for once I have something nice to say about Europeans. No, don't think I have lost my mind. This is confned solely to the Italians. They took one on the chin in Iraq, and instead of cutting and running they are sending more soldiers to replace those lost. It shows who is really on our side.

Speaking of Iraq, a new poll shows that most Americans support our actions there and most Americans believe that the President did not lie about Iraqi WMD. I have to feel a sliver of pity for the democrats. Just a little. Every weapon in their arsenal is worthless. They had two main weapons: Iraq and the economy. The economy grew by 7.2% and the unemployment rate is falling. The administration plans for the Iraqis to be running themselves and taking care of their own security by next year. That would mean Iraq would no longer be an issue, with American soldiers on the way home. What's left for the democrats? I hate Bush so vote for me!

The democrats just keep getting louder and more pathetic with each passing day. Music to my ears.
