Oct 2, 2003 Ever since I had last written an article on here, I had to literally put my writing on hold until now. Yes sadly, Bob had to put on the undaunting task of moving. Thankfully, the new house wasn't too far from the old one. But even still, it was totally not the best time of the year (it was right during the summer months no less). My goodness!! If ever again that I have to move, never again will I ask the neighbor's help. From the very first day to the absolute last day of moving, was a total hell for all of us. I swear this guy acted like he was the head chief of moving. What the worst part of all this was, a major part of our stuff is missing. Because of this neighbor's idiotic ways of doing chores, caused us to forget a lot of stuff. Additionally, the neighbor's brother had gotten involved and literally trashed lots of treasured possessions. Boy, the more I remember the hell we went through; makes me see red all over again. Now sure we had until August 1st to get completely moved out, but even still; this neighbor could have laid off of the needless pushing. As if that wasn't bad enough, he even had his wife on our case about speeding it up. Then when it came time to transfer stuff from here to there by aid of a trailer, is where our backs really got to hurting. Thankfully though, we did get some time off for sleeping and eating. Which was a major plus in my book. All that I can say, is Thank God that they did have some sympathy and compassion for the human side of all of us (in knowing that we all need our rest and nurrishment) at least. ------------ About the author: Read more from Bob Chalfant.
