Apr 4, 2003 For some people, storing your compact discs in jewel boxes/cases are the best option. However, with too many CDs, it can become a bit taxing in terms of usable space (be it your bedroom, living room or wherever). For me, I have the ultimate storage solution for my own compact discs; CD sleeves. With CD sleeves, you can put everything that is in the original jewel box; right into the CD sleeve. The liner notes (aka title of compact disc, artist and record label) goes into the very top slot. Whereas the album front cover, back sheet and compact itself goes into the larger areas. The beauty part of storing your compact discs in CD sleeves this way, is that you can keep extra pictures of your favorite artist inside the same sleeve. However, if you choose to store something else inside your CD sleeve (such as a picture of your girlfriend or boyfriend, a special sticker or whatever you want), then by all means go for it. For those who are wondering on more than compact disc, it is still possible to store them in CD sleeves. All you would need to do, is to store both compact discs in the sleeves and the album cover and back sheet. With DVDs, it is also possible. For those, you would store the disc in the sleeve, make up a piece of artwork that would fit into the CD sleeve in way of an album cover. About the author: Read more from Bob Chalfant.
