Apr. 20, 2003 Yes I'd like to buy this product. That will be $99.00. Here you go, thank you, "No problem" No problem? What the heck kind of response was that? That is the answer I get when I make purchases from retail stores these days. Who taught these people how to serve customers anyway? I'm not picking on just teenagers here, there are quite a few adults out there that are just as rude. I'm not saying everyone I encounter gives the same response, but a good percentage does. My family has been in the retail business for over thirty five years, and if we ever answered customers like that, We'd here it from "The old man" All I'm saying is, common courtesy has gone right out the window. Remember after 9/11 how nice everyone was, how we got along with each other, met neighbors we never knew, held Prayer vigils, and we were all generally nice to each other. What happened? It didn't last. I think rudeness is part of our culture. It's not a good trait, but I'm afraid it will continue long after we're gone. Here's an example for you: What bothers me these day's is
there are not enough: People, we are on this Earth for a limited
time only, so shouldn't we all try to get along, and be nice to each other? I
lose my temper very easily, ask anyone, but I do try everyday to do something nice, sometimes it's tough, but I do try, as should
we all.
