TV Talk
Mar 27, 2004

Is television here to stay? Boy, I hope so. Some people say computers, and video games have replaced good old fashioned, playing outside with your friends. Well, I think it has. I asked my Nephew once, if he wanted to play baseball. He said sure, "I'll get the cartridge". It reminds me of when my Father would ask me if I wanted to go to a baseball game, and I said, 'Why bother, it's on TV this afternoon."

Well, I'll be the first to admit, I love all this technology. I go nowhere without my Palm Pilot, and I check my email three, or four times a day. That's mostly for business, but when the work day is done, I want my "MTV", well, not really. I just want my TV. I would like to share with all the readers some of my favorite shows. And as always your input, is important to me, so, feel free to email me with some of your favorites, as well.

Star Trek:
My favorite show of all time. It doesn't matter which series, I love them all. Most of us can only dream of Space, Star Trek takes us there.
The West Wing:
Do you really know how our government works? Neither do I. Why not just sit back, and let the cast of The West Wing bring us into the White House for an hour. I Pray that's the way our Government is run.
WWE Wrestling:
Where else can you feel every emotion there is to feel. Mostly, the WWE, with it's outrageous cast of characters, makes me laugh. And laughter, is the best medicine.
The News:
Mostly, The Fox News Channel, but I do watch all of the major cable news channels. CNN, MSNBC, CNBC.
The History Channel:
Don't you want to know about the past? By far, one of the most interesting networks on cable.

Well, those are my favorite, and must see shows of the week. Email me some of your favorite shows, in case there is something I am missing. In closing, when I have time, I also watch:
Monk
Nashville Star
Movies
Crossing Jordan
American Idol

Happy Viewing
Have a great week!!
! Artie
