As a family, we've been touched by Cancer too many times to mention. As a family we donate to quite a few different charities, all of them important, but St. Jude is special to us.

The story of St. Jude, is a heartwarming one:(From the St. Jude web site): It was more than 50 years ago that Danny Thomas, then a struggling young entertainer with seven dollars in his pocket, got down on his knees in a Detroit church before a statue of St. Jude Thaddeus, the patron saint of hopeless causes. Danny Thomas asked the saint to "show me my way in life."

The work St.Jude does is not just a regional thing. St. Jude's information is shared with Hospitals around the United States and the World. I would like the readers of Useless-Knowledge Magazine to please visit the St. Jude web site, and see for yourself.
