Philosophy Repeated
May 11, 2004

Sit down. Take a deep breath. Then get up, and take a look at the world around you. Is it all that bad to live on this ball of dirt? Why all of the fighting and the greed? Will, the day end on a bad note just becuase the planet of people are slightly paranoid that someone might be better than them. Or maybe that the real estate on the other side of the fence has resources that seem to be denied. What is the point?

Maybe the philosophy that treating people the way you want to be treated has been lost in the tide of commerse. Or that self comes before the needs of the other people who live on this planet too. The planet has gotten crowded, so this philosophy is needed more than ever. But who is the enforcer of this? Religion? Politics? Or some dumb writer that has the selfish need to point this out? It has to come from somewhere but where?

I don't have the answer, but I do feel that the thought is needed to be repeated. That nobody has listened to thier leaders: religious and political. But, who really can with the divisions of thought. Everybody has the right to an opinion and a say; but its time to look more inward at what is inside an individual. If that happens maybe being nice to other people will begin.

But I know that its just philosophy, or something that happens every moment that someone has to pay heed to what ever religious sect that individual belongs. Lets practice some patience with everybody. Go shake the hand of some stranger at your local coffee shop and say hi. I guess that has to start from with in, so out I go to practice what I'm preaching. Bye.
