June 1, 2003 Before I get to the Protestors, I was reading from the associated press by Kristen Wyatt Saturday, May 31, 2003 about the FBI finding that bomber/Killer wanted for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics (Eric Robert Rudolphand). I found a couple of irritating if not offensive remarks about “Right Wing” people. See I consider myself right wing and I’m much more right-wing then our current president George Bush. However I would never consider violence against another just to push my beliefs or agenda on to someone else, nor would I harbor such a person who did. So I take Offense to Kristen Wyatt of the Associated Press article she wrote and referenced some redneck backward fools as being any part of “Right Wing”. She writes “Pockets of western North Carolina have had a reputation as a haven for right-wing extremists. Some there mocked the government's inability to find Rudolph with bloodhounds, infrared-equipped helicopters and space-age motion detectors - and some said they would hide him if asked”. NO! They are not Right Wing or any wing other than Criminal! See this is an example of wording and phraseology that this country’s media has for so long been abusing. This term Right Wing is being used to describe any attack on a liberal idea. And that attack can come in any form, legal or criminal. I So Object to this!! Come on Kristen, you know as well as I that these people need no other label than criminal. In Another Note: I want to comment on article from Jamey Keaten of the Associated Press Saturday, May 31, 2003. This one is about the Protestors of the G8 Summit Meeting to take place in France. Jamey writes: They all insist the Group of Eight leaders - from the United States, Japan, Germany, Britain, France, Italy, Canada and Russia - don't speak for them or the world. Well I got news for you and your bunch, YOU DON’T SPEAK for me and my peers either! In fact I’d rather have a leader like George Bush whom I can trust to do what he says than to have you bunch of loud mouth, rant raving, sore excuses for having a street party people speak for anyone. These people are so contradictive it’s not funny!! I mean they come out and tell the leaders that you don’t speak for us and we aren’t going take it no more! Were going damage property and party in the streets and get nude and lude because why? We want to push our own agenda! Again Jamey’s article states "They are eight - we are six billion" is on the lips of just about everybody in Annemasse, France's designated hub of protest, about 25 miles west of the site of the three-day G-8 summit in picturesque Evian. On Saturday, nearly 2,000 activists marched through central Annemasse and went to closed service stations to cover gasoline pumps with plastic sheets that read, in French, "G-8, you get on our nerves - the world is not at your service." WOW!! Well these protestors get on MY nerves! They succeed only in hurting the local population and stiff ling economy all because they want to have a day in the sun and party. By Friday, about 4,500 people had set up in two separate protest camps, and the number was expected to rise, police said. Thousands of riot police have deployed, and many shops, banks and restaurants have closed for the weekend. Do they care this is soaking up taxpayer dollar, or causing some local people to shut down? Hell No! The article goes on further that On Sunday, the opening day of the summit, two sets of protesters plan to march from Annemasse and Geneva and will converge on the Franco-Swiss border. Some vowed to obstruct the G-8 proceedings. While the leaders were to fly by helicopter to the summit, protesters said they would try to block any delegations from using the roads to get to Evian. Such bravery!! You bunch of Bone Heads!! I am so sick of these so called “We are the World” activists who think they have the backing of millions when if only theknew the truth that most look on them with contempt. That’s my 2 cents worth.
