May 22, 2003 I have wanted to vent my frustrations about the Democrats and their WAY OUT attitude toward every subject and policy known to man. These so called representatives are not who we, as Americans, want to have leading the way. That's not to say a democrat can't be capable, but the overall political nature of the democrats is whacked out!! They run out when agenda's aren't being pushed, they don't attend their assigned duties, they have no legacy, they don't even know who their front runners are for the 2004 elections, they only want to raise more taxes, and in my opinion they are steadily ripping apart our constitution. Take for instance Gephardt. I was reading an article by Sam Dealey and Sarita Chourey in the "Hill" and they noted 85% of House votes are missed by Dickie Boy Gephardt. A Total of 162 missed! Why? Cause, Hey! He had things to do. I mean after all he wants to run for president. The article went on to say that Gephardt has missed all the votes on energy-related issues this session. This guy is derelict! Then he has the gall to say "We've got to have a president in this country, and I hope to be that president, who restores faith and hope in people that we can solve the major problems that this country faces". Well you're right about one thing Dick, getting rid of you in your current position will solve some problems but putting you as president would damage this country beyond repair. But he is not alone. Other Democratic reps have missed votes. Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) did not attend or add his worthless two cents in 63 votes. It would have been sixty-five but two were missed for surgery, (we'll give him that). Other Democratic missed votes: Sen. Joe Lieberman (D-Conn.) has missed 22% or 40 votes this year. Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.) has been absent from 12%, or 22 votes. But like always they have an excuse they claim the missed votes have not interfered with their senatorial responsibilities. Lets not forget Sen. "Sponge" Bob Graham (I like to call him that because he loves to sponge off our hard earned dollars and who announced his candidacy, missed 6% of votes, that does not include 16 votes in January from which he was absent due to heart surgery(I think they were putting one in). Don't forget the Democrats in Texas where I'm from. These bozos decided, after being in control for 130 years that they don't like to play by the rules THEY VOTED IN! They left the house when redistricting came up. Ran their scared butts out of Texas (so to avoid being arrested) and stayed in Oklahoma where they were coddled by the Democrat governor, until the bill died due to deadline expiration. They have over and over again push their agenda for 130 years and NOT ONCE have the republicans packed up and left so no vote can be accomplished. What a bunch of Whiners these democrats are! It was a temper tamp drum plain and simple! You have democrat mayors assigning smoking bands in city restaurants. Now I'm not a smoker but I'm so against government dictating or forcing us as citizens when and where we can smoke. I think it is perfectly ok for an establishment, company or public facility to decide that but not the local, state or federal government. This is NOT what the constitution is about. Keep Bill Clinton as far from the country politics as you can. There is SO MANY things I can show against this out right lying and self centered piece of bad work. I can hear people now saying oh come on now Jaime, Bush is liar, they all lie. I say to those, name one thing President Bush has lied about. But that's ok they wont be able to back that up, however for me I have PLENTY of Ammo. For instance here is an interesting article from the Monday's (051903) Wall Street Journal former FBI Director Louis Freeh said "The FBI recommended a criminal indictment that would identify Iran as the sponsor of the Khobar bombing. Finding a problem for every solution, the Clinton administration refused to support a prosecution." However Freeh did go to the Bush administration and got action to help bring the Khobar bombers to justice. The Clinton administration's response to Freeh's request ? They ordered the FBI to end the photographing and fingerprinting official Iranian delegations entering the U.S. because it hurt our "relationship" with Tehran. Clinton didn't care about much, when it came to terrorism. In the '92 presidential running he viewed foreign policy as little or no priority, only the economy mattered. And that is why we now have problems with North Korea, Iraq and Iran. He did not visit the site of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, and rejected several offers to take custody of Osama bin Laden. This is and has been documented. Oh by the way just to re-emphasize Terrorist Attacks were Blamed on President Bush. However There hasn't been a single attack in the United States since 9/11. The State Department numbers for 2002 are at 1969 levels! However you hear the Dems blaming President Bush but my question to them, who had the power and the presidency for over a decade, what were you democrats doing while all this was building up. You ignored the North Koreans and their nuclear building, you allowed Osama to run amuck, you had chance after chance to stifle the terrorist potentials, and you spent all the strong economy monies that were strengthen by the previous Bush administration. I mean come on you've let the economy ride and flourish off of George Bush administration, and did nothing to bolster it except spend it all and sent the US into a tight low economy and now you want the taxpayers to bail you out!
