Americans have come under fire abroad, and at home, sometimes even by fellow Americans. We are too nationalistic, too patriotic, too proud. We are called "arrogant Americans" by some of the same people that we fought to free. We are called "flag-waving rednecks" by some of our fellow countrymen. Too proud? I think not. Virtue, honor and blood have earned us the right to be proud of our flag, and our great nation. America has come, in 227 years, from chaos and an uncertain future to the greatest nation the world shall ever see. During this relatively short journey we have fought against some of the most heinous examples of evil ever conceived by man; Fascism, Imperialism, Communism. These ideologies of inhumanity have all been vanquished by the sword of justice and righteousness. The sword carried into battle by each and every one of our soldiers, our sailors, our marines, our patriots.

To all of our patriots, past and present, at home and abroad, we say thank you for this great nation and the pride you have instilled in our hearts and our souls.
