Jan 9, 2004 With the new year upon us now, I think it's as good as time as any to sit back and meditate on the direction we are headed into. With the events that have taken place in the last two years, we are headed into a malestrom of fear and uncertanty. But, alas, we have the United States government to hold our hands and keep us safe from harm. With their cameras to watch, so no harm will befall us. Monitoring telephone conversations to make sure no one is planning to attack us. Putting armed guards on the street to deter anyone from hurting anyone. Having military patrols fly over our cities to make the baddies think two or three times about trying anything. All the while the 'citizens' feel safe and secure as they gladly give up their freedoms for a security that cannot be provided to them. The priciples, mentality, morality, and intelligence that made this country great being diluted, stripped away and condemned as heracy. The government can not help us, keep us safe, or provide for us.
