Sept. 29, 2004 They don't like it, so they scream. Now, I know I have talked about this before but I think I need to talk about it again. What is "it" you ask? Well "it" is free speech. Now George Soros, I believe fox news had the gall to call this closet Stalinist a philanthropist, is going on the offensive to beat President Bush in November. This fool is blathering about how Bush "suppressed free speech after 9-11" Really? Barbara Streisand is waxing philsophical about the freedom of the press, or as she sees it the lack of it. Because: anyone who takes on this adminstration gets their head handed to them. I see, hmmm... Babs must have missed a dosage of her pills somwhere. She, like all the other liberals in lala land insist that the lies about the adminastration are true, even when it is proven otherwise. CBS didn't lie because Barnes said he pulled strings to get him into the national guard. Never mind that the documents were forgeries, and bad ones at that. I mean after all he is a former Lt. Governor of Texas and that is enough for her. Never mind that the man is mentally unhinged and obsessed with President Bush. To her Joe Wilson, a liar that puts Alger Hiss to shame is a martyr, and Paul O'Neil am embittered prima donna lost his job because he dared to stand up to his boss. To every member of the loony left, and most registered members of the democratic party the first amendment has one foot in the grave. Why? Because they're losing that's why. The democrats, and the left, came to view running the country as a birthright. They controlled congress, both houses, the Presidency (more often than not) and most governorships. So the idea that a bunch of unwashed, unsohpisticated yahoos from flyover country could put all that to an end has sent them right to their therapists. I swear they're not too far away from comparing Bush to Hitler...oh wait... they have already done that. Well since Bush=Hitler didn't work I'm sure they'll start gibbering about aliens trying to take over the white house next, with little green men from Mars controlling the President. But the truth of it is this: they don't have a leg to stand on, and deep down they know it. If freedom of speech were really gone these fools would be in Jail. Think about it. George Soros can commit millions of dollars to the Presidents defeat, and he isn't punished. A has been singer can slander the President as a draft dodger and support forged documents, and she isn't in any trouble. Michael Moore makes a propaganda movie and passes it off as a documentary, and makes millions. Yeah, these guys are realy suffering from a lack of free speech.
