John Kerry’s Mouthpiece [Ted Kennedy, The Swimmer]

By Sher Zieve
Sept. 28, 2004

In the pompous and arrogant way that only Ted Kennedy (The Swimmer) can affect, words and phrases bordering on epithets were windily discharged and blown about, last night, on the Chris Matthew’s show. Kennedy started slowly and, for him, somewhat thoughtfully as he started by proclaiming that “the Republicans have run a very effective campaign of massive distortion, massive deception”. The Republicans, Teddy? Seems to me it’s been the Dems who have been talking ‘quagmire in Iraq’, ‘only the poor join the armed services’ and (amongst almost countless other bogus Dem charges…including the forged CBS documents the John Kerry campaign appears to have worked on with Dan Rather’s group) ‘Allawi is a Bush-puppet’. These are only some of the wonderfully idiotic charges made by the Dem presidential candidate. In any event, Dem Teddy-boy never met a truth he liked…or would even acknowledge.

Teddy continued his diatribe (in reference to Republicans) with such uplifting rhetoric as: “It’s a campaign of anger and insult” (you’re getting your campaigns mixed up again, Ted), “they haven’t wanted a debate in terms of Iraq in and of itself” (the very first presidential candidate debate is on foreign policy, Ted…did you miss that?) and “it’s the most anti-American – it’s McCarthyism of the first order” (your candidate-Hanoi John-is the only known anti-American candidate in the race, Mr. K). Poor Teddy. He just can’t seem to help himself. He’s been lying for so many years about so many things that it just ‘comes natural to him’!

There are some salient questions to be asked, in reference to the presidential candidate debates. Will Teddy be in the wings during the debate, giving lines to Kerry? Will John Kerry put some passion into his debate speeches? But, most important of all, will the liquid tan he’s rubbed onto his face begin to liquefy and run down his cheeks? Now, that would be a reason to actually watch John Kerry!
