Sept. 25, 2004 Are the Clintons along with the RPDs trying to sink John Kerry’s presidential prospects in their new advisory capacity? Is Kerry that dumb he thinks the Clintons have his interests in mind? Tell me it aint so? Will John Kerry leave the battlefield before the battle is lost? That is exactly what he did in Vietnam. As a matter of fact Kerry has had the most under-whelming carrier of any person who ever ran for the office of president. I can find no research where John Kerry ever held a job in the privet sector. He’s always been on the public payroll in one form or another. It’s as though he took over the family business of government employment. One of the Useless Knowledge Columnists in a recent article tried to associate Osama bin Laden with the Bush family. The Bush family was in the Oil business, Saudi Arabia is in the Oil business. Osama is a Saudi; He isn’t in the oil business to my knowledge. It wouldn’t be unusual for Oilmen to come in contact with each other. One of John Kerry’s Grandfathers was reported to be in the Opium business in China at the turn of the 20th century. I doubt we would call John Kerry a drug dealer because of that association. That isn’t even the point. The point is what the hell’s wrong with the oil business? Nearly half of our economy is dependent on oil and it’s byproducts. Liberals give anything they question a bad name. There’s no proof of global warming; this is an issue the Lib’s have hung a hat on. Fact or fiction they aren’t about to listen to reason. However none have given up their SUVs in favor of walking. They still demand their Custom Coffee and Bottled Water, etc etc be delivered by smoke belching 18-wheelers. They still fly around the world holding meeting trying to ban air travel. The list is endless. Of course we all know what it really is. If you have no opinion of your own latch on to something for other people to do you’re thinking for you. I’m not big on research. I am big on studying the issues and then forming my own opinions. I’ve noticed Liberals who express opinions are inclined to quote the research behind their opinion. In other words they have no opinion they are taking someone else opinion and passing it on. That brings me to my real point. President George Bush has surrounded himself with a group of advisors he is comfortable with. They’ve been with him for the four years he’s been President and it looks like most of them will stay through his next administration. Senator John Kerry on the other hand changes advisors with his underwear. He now has the RPDs [Rocket propelled Democrats] who hold no allegiance to Kerry but rather [Not Dan] to the Clintons. These are the very people who would rather [Not Dan] see Hillary president than Kerry. How can Kerry stay on message when the message changes ever other week? Silly me of course that’s the answer he’s staying on message it’s the message that keeps changing. I’ve said before and I will repeat it now. It is my opinion the Clintons are out to sink the Kerry campaign. The RPDs took Kerry off his Vietnam heroics and forced him to challenge the President on an issue he has absolutely no creditability on the war in Iraq. The fear of another terrorist attack and Kerry’s history of spinning the issue has made him less than believable. Most people trust the President more on this issue. The columnist who wrote the article trying to connect the President with Osama bin Laden is actually doing the conservative cause a favor. Those Liberals who hate Bush are going to vote for Kerry the article though amusing is wasted on them. Those undecided voters aren’t likely to believe something that bazaar. That accusation it will do more to turn them to Bush than turn them away. Liberals have a lot of Dan Rather in them they think everyone thinks exactly like they think. Those who don’t are in the minority they think. Not necessarily true. For the next few weeks we’ll be listing to the choir, November 2nd the congregation will stand and sing. Until then no one knows for sure who will be the winner. All the polls and pundits and blogers and any other soothsayers will just have to speculate and write our concession speeches in the event we called it wrong. P.S.
