Sept. 24, 2004 So there are two major candidates, one is a Republican the other a Democrat. The Republican is in support of waging war on whomever he considers to be a potential threat, while domestic issues take a back seat, on the other hand, the Democrat is in favour of settling these concerns on the home front and regaining America's respectability rating. For on the start of the war with Iraq, certain countries in the world were not in favour of waging combat with a nation that had nothing to do with the nine eleven attacks on America, therefore inducing others to take sides. Since then America's respectability has decreased considerably. Still undecided? Both canidates have their own views about what potential service to one's country means. One, the Democrat was courageous enough to volunteer his services during the war in Vietnam, while his rival did not show up for duty while in the National Guards, but is competing for a second term in the White House, to which he was appointed in the first place, not voted in. Still undecided? The difference is plain to see, choose one that you consider is the right choice for you and what you believe in, for on election day it is the undecided voter who might think his vote may not be of any importance. Worst of all scenarios, what if the undecided voter does not bother to show up at the polls at all, that would be a major tragedy on that day, not just for you, but for the many who are depending on your decision. ------------ About the author Judy Ramsook: I am in the process of publishing my first book titled: "Karen's Adventure" which is about two young girls who go in search of their missing parents.
