Britney Spears Is A Step Mom

By Amanda Baker
Sept. 21, 2004

Way to go, Britney Spears for starting a new life in wedded bliss. I know Britney is happy, but that man came with a premade family and that family needed to be at the secret wedding.

According to a report from "Access Hollywood" her husbands children were not at the wedding. Bad form! Starting a family is a commitment between two people, he started a family with another woman. Yes, the man had a chioce to stay with her or be with another woman. The children from that pairing are his. When Britney looks back at the wedding photos with her step children, it is a fact that one or both will ask her where they were.

What will be her answer?

Will she lie to them, telling them that their mother did not let them attend? Or will she tell them the truth, that her husband, their father, did not want to wait, so they could be at the wedding. Or simply that she did not want them there.

Nobody will truly know what will happen because as her poorly made remake of a bad song says, "Its her prerogative."

I am a parent of a baby who was not invited to a wedding. He did ask when he was older why he was not there, all I could say was I did not know. I just waited at home on my sister's birthday for somebody from his father's wedding party to pick him up. Nobody came and he was not in any of the wedding photos. My criticism is from experience.
